Bridget is the founder and owner of Abundant Joy. With a passion for working with and advocating for people of all ages and backgrounds, she has taught in the public school system, assisted in resettling refugees, counseled trafficked women, and has worked to raise well-rounded, healthy children in her role as a professional nanny. With over 21 years of experience caring for children and providing education and support to the parents she worked alongside, many of Bridget’s close friends requested her support during their birth. Bridget was often asked to stay overnight to provide friends with her steady, upbeat, and positive presence–in their living room or in a hospital room. These long nights allowed her to listen to the birthing mamas, help them sort out what their goals and options were, and allowed Bridget to advocate for them to make sure they felt comfortable and had their needs met. Bridget has found that women have more positive birth outcomes when a doula is present throughout labor and delivery. These experiences made it clear to Bridget that her talents and passion lie in doula work. Birth is unpredictable by nature, and Bridget has worked with single moms, families, and teams of medical professionals in order to help parents to be present in the moment. Incorporating the baby’s father throughout the entire process leads to a successful team effort where both mom and dad feel connected to the baby–from the very beginning to the birth. She believes that women can feel confident and empowered during their birth experiences with the right kind of unbiased support and knowledge. Bridget provides guidance through evidence-based education, as well as encouragement and compassion throughout the birth journey. From her varied and deep experiences working with parents and their children, Bridget is adept at helping parents navigate postpartum schedules and transitions. She also assists the mother with her newborn as she heals and adapts to life with a new baby. Looking forward to being a part of your joyful birth! Bridget has extensive experience supporting families in hospitals, birth centers, and home births. She is skilled in supporting mothers with Vaginal Births, VBACS, Cesareans, high-risk pregnancies, stillbirths, and twin births. "The joy of the Lord is my strength." Nehemiah 8:10

Had such a wonderful experience with Bridget as my doula. She is a fabulous resource and helped me through any questions, doubts, or fears I was having about my birth. She creates a wonderful and calm atmosphere when you need it most.
- Kayla Stoddard
We are beyond happy and grateful for Bridget’s dula services. We are first time parents and had no idea what to expect during the birth of our daughter. Bridget provides information and techniques on how to manage labor. She made us feel safe and heard. We had an amazing experience with our team Seven Oaks women’s center at Methodist Hospital who Bridget recommended. Without her knowledge and recommendations we may have not had such a great experience.

Bridget was amazing! She supported me through labor with calm and care, ensuring my birth plan and preferences were respected. I felt heard, safe, and empowered the whole time. Her postpartum support was also incredible, making those first days so much easier. Bridget shows up with her whole heart, and having her by my side made an unforgettable difference in my birth and postpartum experience.

Bridget with Abundant Joy Doula Services was my doula for my first pregnancy, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her support. She truly listened to and understood my goals throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. During labor, she was my cheerleader—offering extra comfort, coaching, and encouragement exactly when I needed it most. Her guidance and presence made all the difference, and she continued to be a source of support even after my baby arrived. I highly recommend Bridget to anyone seeking extra education, advocacy, and emotional support on their journey to welcoming a baby into the world.
- Brittney Mekler
Bridget is amazing! She is so sweet and helpful and made me feel so confident in my birth plan! My labor ended up progressing so quickly that we had an unplanned home birth and didn’t ask Bridget to come until it was too late for her to make it in time, but she still raced to our house at midnight during a storm and ended up arriving right after baby was born. I wish we could have had her there for the birth, but she was so helpful on the phone while I was having contractions and coaching us through what we should do. I would definitely use her again if we decide to have another baby!
- Brittany McMahan
Highly recommend Bridget! Very knowledgeable and such a genuine soul. Don’t pass her up! You won’t regret it!
- Katie
My husband and I were so grateful to have Bridget along for the ride of my first pregnancy/birth. Her prenatal classes were informative and helped us feel confident and ready for labor and delivery. I was so thankful to have her in our corner during the birth of my son. Her knowledge of labor positions and pain management techniques helped my time in labor feel less scary. Throughout my pregnancy and the postpartum period, Bridget was available to answer questions and point me to resources that made my transition to motherhood a little bit easier. I would recommend Bridget to anyone who is looking for more support in their pregnancy and labor.
- Megan
Bridget was truly the greatest gift during my birth experience. I labored for several days with an OP (sunny-side-up) baby, and I genuinely believe that if it weren’t for her guidance, I may have ended up needing a c-section. Bridget recommended birthing positions that helped my baby flip, and after so much hard work, I was able to have the vaginal birth I had hoped for. Throughout my long labor, Bridget made me feel safe, informed, and deeply supported. She stayed the night at our apartment when I needed her most, and even danced around our kitchen with my whole family (including our dog) in an effort to help my labor progress. The way she supported not only me, but my husband too, was so beautiful. Now, over a year later, I still think about how Bridget showed up for us during one of the most important moments of our lives. Her steady, compassionate presence made all the difference. I truly cannot imagine my birth without her, and I would (and often do) recommend Bridget to absolutely anyone looking for a doula who will bring her full heart, expertise, and joy to your birth journey.
- Christy Ditzler
Bridget was my doula for my VBAC and I know her support was crucial in getting my dream labor/birth. I specifically chose Bridget because she has so much experience with VBAC moms and knew I needed someone who understood the added hurdles having a pervious cesarean birth could cause. I labored a long time at home and Bridget was there the whole way helping to ease pain and providing knowledge on when it was time to go to the birth center. We couldn’t have done it without her as part of our team and feel so thankful for her! If you’re attempting a vbac definitely consider having her as part of your team! Bridget was also super helpful postpartum when I had issues breastfeeding the first few days and even networked to got donor milk for me. She is very communicative and goes above and beyond for her clients. THANK YOU Bridget !
- Audrey Kuhn
I cannot thank Bridget enough for her help with the birth of our son! My previous births were a C-section and medicated VBAC. I always wanted to try a natural birth but was afraid of all of the unknowns and pain of course. My OB recommended Bridget and hiring her was the best decision! She explained exactly what to expect, as well as stages of labor, etc. to help you feel prepared. She checked in on my frequently throughout pregnancy and provided helpful tips. When the time came she was prompt to meet us at the hospital. Bridget walked me through labor, anticipating my needs before I even knew what they were. She seemed to always be a step ahead. She was so prepared, encouraging, and ultimately I don’t think I could have done it without her. So grateful for her!

Bridget was wonderful to work with! We hired Bridget as our doula while my husband was deployed and her prenatal sessions were hugely helpful in educating us on how things will happen during the delivery and what decisions we may have to make during the delivery. All of this prep ended up being critical for my shockingly early and speedy delivery as a FTM and prepared me to answer questions that aligned with my intended birth plan even while deep into active labor. Bridget also makes everyone feel very comfortable, genuinely cares about her clients, and she’s easy to trust. We highly recommend her as a doula for anyone considering the option!
- Allison Peitz
I highly recommend this service! Bridget was amazing with preparing me for birth and helping me organize my birth plan! I felt ready for this birth with her by my side, my son decided to arrive early and we did not have childcare ready so Bridget instead stayed overnight with my 2 other kids in the waiting room of the hospital, she was amazing with them and sent my husband and I updates while we were in labor. It was a huge relief on me personally to know they were safe since we were so new to the area and knew no one with no family around. She checked in on me after birth and then called to check in on me again a month or so into me being home. Bridget is so sweet and easy to talk to, if you’re looking for a great doula I recommend her! She was a blessing to my family during such a stressful time!
- Samm Inman
Bridget is amazing! We hired her to support the birth of our son born last month, our first child who was born at home. We met with her a couple times prior to the birth. We got to know each other, reviewed birth preferences, and even practiced some comfort techniques that my husband could use before and during labor. When my contractions started to pick up, we called Bridget at 2am and she answered right away. I wasn’t 100% sure I was in labor even though my contractions were 3-5 mins apart, 1 minute long and had been that way for almost 2 hours. She very kindly assured me that I was in fact in labor and that she would be on her way shortly, she arrived within 30-45 mins. When she arrived at our house she spoke with my husband briefly and told him he should go get some rest while he could before labor really started to pick up. She was amazing the whole labor offering all kinds of comfort techniques, comforting words, and her hand to hold during particularly hard contractions. She handled calling the midwife when it was time so my husband and I could focus on being in the moment together. After the baby was born she stayed with us for a little while to make sure everyone was good and then came back to our home for a follow-up visit a couple days later. She also took pictures of the labor and birth process that she shared with us at our follow-up visit. We love Bridget and so glad she was there for us during our transition into parenthood!
- Krystal Knesal
Bridget was an incredible support during our pregnancy and labor journey. She helped us feel well-prepared for labor by discussing our preferences, providing helpful resources, and ensuring we felt confident about the process. When the big day came, our active labor progressed quickly, and Bridget had just arrived as my water broke and I started to feel the need to push. Despite the whirlwind, she stayed calm, communicated effectively with my midwife to ensure she arrived on time, and provided exactly the support we needed in the moment. Her knowledge, care, and composure made a huge difference, and we are so grateful to have had her by our side.
- Rebecca McMahon
I wish I could give Bridget a 10 star. She is a great source of information and this being my first, I wasn't sure what to expect. She helped my husband and I get mentally prepared. Doula professionalism aside, she's such a sweet and kind human being who helped ease any first time tension I may have had. If I ever decide to go through this again, I know who I'd call.
- Jocelyn Quizhpe
I cannot recommend Bridget enough as a doula. My first birth was at a hospital and very stressful, with a fast and intense labor after a planned induction. I knew I wanted a completely different experience for my second birth & I needed more support. From the very beginning, Bridget brought such a kind and calming presence to the entire process and truly helped facilitate the positive birth experience I was hoping for. She knew I was nervous about having another fast labor since I live an hour away from the hospital, but she was so reassuring throughout. Meeting with her several times before my birth was incredibly helpful—not just logistically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Our discussions gave me the confidence and mental preparation I needed for this second birth. Her faith also brought so much comfort to me during the process. Knowing she was praying for me gave me strength, and her prayers felt like an extension of the calm and peace she brought into my birth experience. Prior to this experience, I had always felt like I wouldn’t want a “stranger” at my birth but Bridget honestly felt like a trusted friend who truly took the time to get to know me. The night I went into labor, I was texting with her, and her thoughtful support was the reason I realized it was time to head to the birth center. She arrived before I did, with almost no notice, and was exactly the calming, grounding presence I needed during labor. If you’re looking for someone who is compassionate, intuitive, and fully dedicated to supporting you in your birth journey, Bridget is the one. I’m so grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone!
- Kristin Lamon
We had Bridget as our doula for our first birth! Her knowledge, expertise, and experience was invaluable. We are so grateful for her!
- Taylor Julson
Bridget was so incredible, i knew we would match perfectly together just by the initial phone call! She always kept me updated and was constantly asking how I and the baby were doing, which I loved. One thing to know about her is her servants heart; never complaining and always ready to do and try different things for you (pictured below). She was there through it all and being such a light to me, quoting encouraging verses to me and praying for me:) Go with Bridget🙌🏼
- Angela Giles
We had a fantastic experience being supported through birth with Bridget as our doula. She is so caring, knowledgeable and was the advocate I needed during my c section. From our first meeting I felt at ease with Bridget and am so grateful she was there holding my hand and guiding us through the birth of our daughter. Thank you Bridget!!
- Emily Bourdeau
Bridget has been such a lovely support to have in our corner this year! We learned so much through her and she was so supportive through pregnancy and the day of delivery even though our birth plan didn’t go as planned. She has a really calming, authentic presence which is exactly what you want during such a stressful time. She is so good at her job and is a delight to have around! I’m thankful we had her by our side!
- T Schreiner
Bridget is an absolute treasure. She helped calm my anxieties and was a wonderful help to me in the exhaustion of giving birth to my first baby. My husband and I are so grateful to have found her and highly recommend her as a doula.
- Colby Fleming
My first birth was a planned c-section and my second was a vbac that resulted in a very difficult recovery. So when I got pregnant with my third, I immediately began searching for a supportive & knowledgeable doula who could advocate for me in the delivery room. Bridget was highly recommended by a friend and after working with her I can see why. She has such a warm and encouraging presence. My birth happened rather quickly, my water broke and my baby was born just two hours later. Bridget quickly got to the hospital and began advocating for me since the doctor on call was not familiar with my birth plan. With her support, I was able to have the redemptive birth that I had been praying for.
- Leila Yuras
We absolutely loved working with Bridget! This was our second birth and I knew after having my daughter, I wanted things to go differently this time. I loved that she supported any route I wanted to take and encouraged me to change things up during labor when I was stuck and not progressing. Without her I definitely would not have made it as long as I did unmedicated! So happy with how this birth went and truly was thankful to have her by my side. I would recommend Bridget to anyone looking for a doula!
- Alissa Lebahn
I hired Bridget for postpartum doula services and she was nothing short of amazing. As a stay at home mom of a toddler, I knew I would need support navigating the newborn phase and the transition from one to two young children. She helped me juggle their care, sometimes caring for the toddler, sometimes caring for the newborn, and sometimes caring for both, so that I could rest and recover. She is a kind, intelligent, competent, thoughtful, non-judgmental human. She is also great at communicating and very responsive. I’ve never had any type of childcare before and I immediately felt confident in her ability to care for both of my children. I did not use her as a birth doula, but I would not hesitate to recommend her for those services as well. She is someone who is not afraid to advocate for her clients and go the extra mile. I highly recommend her!
- Erin Lehrman
This was our first pregnancy-birth experience. Bridget was great from the start! She answered all of our questions we had about her services. Bridget also would check in on us during the pregnancy, she help prepare us for the big day with breathing exercises, create a birth plan, different positions we can use during labour, etc… On the big day Bridget was with us for the whole time! It was a long long labour but with her help and motivation we were able to bring our baby girl to this world the way we had planned it. Super grateful to have had Bridget at the birth of my daughter and plan on using her services in the future!
- Leine Torres
We had recently PCS’d to San Antonio and knew no one. With two older children one school age and the other a toddler we were worried about not having anyone around when we would have our third child. Bridget did amazing with our two kids and it was a huge stress relief to have our children with someone we could trust while we were in L&D. If we had to go back and do this all over again we would hire Bridget again! She was extremely informative, professional and personable, and we have no doubt she would have been an amazing addition to have in the labor room had labor not happened earlier than expected.
- Alfred Vassallo
If you are looking for a doula who is kind, thorough, hilarious and personable then you have found the best. Bridget and I connected at the beginning of my pregnancy in the midst of some trying times I was experiencing. She was a light in the darkness. The prenatal visits left me extremely prepared and comforted for the process of labor and even when our plans went completely different in the delivery room she gave me the confidence and education to make an informed decision about my care. She was a friend and an advocate for myself and my spouse during labor. She stayed with us almost the entire time from induction to delivery, nearly 48 hours! She's also trained in techniques to move babies into the proper position which allowed my baby to flip over so I could deliver him! Even though the labor was extremely difficult, Bridget was kind and made me laugh throughout the process. She's a truly one of a kind human and does God's work helping mommas like me bring our babies earth side.
- Marisa Mitchell
Bridget was everything we could have hoped for in a doula. This was our first child and I knew immediately I wanted a doula, but I wasn't sure what all that entailed or how it worked. I found Bridget here on Google and her reviews could not be more accurate. I loved her website and how informative it was in explaining her services. Our meetings with Bridget were thorough and efficient. She did a great job in explaining the pregnancy and birth process to us so we knew what to expect. On the day of my induction (not by choice), she was supportive and was there by my side to walk me through the process. I felt I was in good hands with her. I truly believe she was a key reason we were able to avoid a c-section, for which I can not thank her enough. She was also such great support for my husband throughout the entire labor process. You can tell she loves what she does. Thank you for making our son's birth such a wonderful experience, Bridget!
- Kelley
I had had a really difficult and traumatic birth with my first baby and kept going back and forth on how I wanted to approach my second. A friend mentioned hiring a doula for support during my birth and I ended up finally finding Bridget at the tail end of my pregnancy. She had no issues taking me on as a client, even though I was beyond 30 weeks. She listened to what I experienced with my first birth and took note of things I wanted done differently this time around. Bridget also was very good at making suggestions when I wasn’t sure how to word things or about situations I hadn’t thought about. When I told her this birth would likely progress quickly, she made me feel confident that whatever the time or day, she would be there when needed. My labor was roughly 10 hours this ground and when I messaged her at 5AM she was readily available and asking to call and talk to me to get more of an idea of symptoms and if it really was “go time”. (It was). From the time I was admitted to the time my daughter was born was only about 3 hours, but. Even though I didn’t have a long or difficult labor, Bridget was there and familiar with the doctors and staff that it just seemed like a very well oiled machine. The doctor had some positions she wanted me in to progress me and was confident letting Bridget take over in getting me situated. Like I said, I knew my labor wouldn’t be long but I wanted to have someone there advocating for me, as my first birth I felt completely rail roaded and inexperienced. Bridget gave me full confidence that she would stick up for me and back me up if I was placed in a position where I felt like I was being bullied into something I didn’t want or wasn’t informed enough over. If we were to ever have more kids, I would 100% hire her again.
- K C
We had a great experience with Bridget! From the initial phone call, we knew she would be such a sweet and caring presence for this special time in our lives. We reached out to Bridget later in our pregnancy journey and we were thrilled that she was able to take us on as her clients. We enjoyed getting to know Bridget during our prenatal appointments and talking through what we hoped our birth would look like. She was able to talk us through all the elements of our birth plan and make sure that we understood what we wanted for our baby’s birth. Bridget did a great job supporting us in the weeks leading up to our birth - checking in with us, encouraging us, and answering our questions. On the day of our birth, Bridget was a huge support in helping us labor at home and being with us at the hospital. We felt more confident because she was with us and she was able to help us make the right decisions and stick to our birth plan. Bridget was a calming and knowledgeable presence in the hospital with us. After the birth of our daughter, Bridget visited with us about a week and a half later. We were able to talk through the birth and ask questions. We also were able to have Bridget provide us with some postpartum hours. She helped care for our baby when we needed some much needed rest at home. We are so thankful for her support! Highly recommend if you’re considering a doula or need postpartum care!
- Audrey Yakulevich
My husband and I are so thankful that Bridget walked with us through the pregnancy and birth of our third son. Bridget is truly gifted and excellent at what she does. She brought me immense peace while also being a strong and unwavering advocate in helping me attain my much desired VBAC! She is very knowledgeable and educated and has a very calming presence. She does her job with such joy and passion— it is so clear that she is working in the right field. It was an absolute privilege to have her as my doula and I would definitely recommend her.
- Carolyn Mendez
Amazing support from an amazing woman! From answering my questions through pregnancy, being there for me through an induction, and being the only non-family member I trust to watch my baby postpartum, Bridget is phenomenal. She really listens to your unique needs and will tailor her services to what will help you most :-) definitely hire her
- Rachel Smullen
From start to finish Bridget was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was by my side to welcome our 4th and final babe earthside. I chose Bridget because of her strong faith, which was evident in her life. She is light, full of joy and carries a peace that is tangible. When labor day came, she was just the coach I needed. She met me with so much support as I was struggling with fear and finding ways to relax and settle into labor. When she prayed with me and over me during labor, I felt God's tangible Presence fill our space. God also gave her a song that sustained me throughout labor. For her to be so connected and in tune to what God was doing was exactly what I needed. I would strongly consider having more babies just to work with her again! Buuuuut with 4, 5yo and under at 40, we are done lol, but you should hire her, you won't regret it.
- Sarah Flores-Sands
As a first time mom, I was so glad to have Bridget as my doula. Her prenatal appointments are very comprehensive and helpful in preparing for birth. I also enjoyed our postpartum checkup as it gave my husband and I the opportunity to reflect on our entire birth experience. Ultimately, my labor and delivery did not go as planned, but Bridget was a very positive part of the experience. She brought peace and calm as well as coping strategies to help in difficult moments. I’d recommend her to anyone!
- Alyse Biscan
I loved getting to work with Bridget! After interviewing several doulas, she stood out as not only very experienced and capable, but also warm, positive, cheerful and supportive of whatever type of birth parents are hoping for. I expressed to her that integrating my faith into my birth experience was important to me, and she encouraged and jumped right in with that. Our prenatal meetings were helpful, and I felt so much more confident knowing that she’d be there to coach and support us when labor and delivery came. I unexpectedly had a precipitous birth at home, but she met me at the hospital and held my hand for placenta delivery and stitches while my husband got our toddler settled with family. Although I didn’t end up having her with me for labor and delivery (happened too fast), the peace of mind I had leading up to it knowing she was on our team was so valuable. She’s a joy to work with and to know!
- Natalie MacDonald
This review has been long overdue! I am now about 36 weeks pregnant [again!] and will have the privilege of having Bridget as my doula for a second birth in a row (third baby; unfortunately I didn’t know her at the time of my first pregnancy). Bridget is amazing! I’d recommend her to anyone desiring quality support throughout pregnancy, during labor and delivery, and in the postpartum phase. Beginning with our initial correspondences, she was informative and uplifting, and I was confident that she genuinely cared about me, my baby, and supporting my birth preferences. She welcomed my questions and answered them with both attention and competency (she has a great knowledge bank within her scope of practice!), all-the-while allowing me to feel the freedom to plan for the birth that I wanted to have. In reverse, she also asked me good questions to help me process through the various important decisions that would need to be made (including planning for contingencies), educated me on several birth-related topics with evidence-based research, and provided me with pain-relief techniques that we could incorporate during labor if desired. With her direction, I was able to understand my rights and options regarding different aspects of the labor and delivery process, many of which I was unaware of (thank you—really!). She was also very knowledgeable about different birthing centers, midwives, and hospitals in the area and how each one may or may not complement me in my goals/desires for my prenatal care and birth. Outside of our prenatal visits and leading up to D-Day, her communication was great as she was proactive in regularly checking-in on me. During the labor process, she gave me her prompt and continual attention, which helped me to feel confident and safe about how I was laboring. Despite her kind, sweet, joyful, and playful nature, she had no problem being firm when necessary to advocate for my best interests—for that and for her I am truly grateful! Following delivery, she continued providing me support through a postpartum visit as well as constant check-ins via phone. Overall, she was loving, proficient, encouraging, communicative, and authentic. Bridget has been just as wonderful this time around and I’m so blessed that she will be at my side for the birth of our next precious baby. If you’re considering hiring a doula to aid in your prenatal/birth/postpartum needs, Bridget is a wonderful choice!
- Nate and Allena
Look no further for an amazing doula! Bridget was so helpful, always answered my questions and checked in on me throughout the whole process and after. She was always calm, and created a safe space during labor and birth. I wouldn’t hesitant to use her services again.
- Savannah Serna
As first time parents, we couldn’t be more thankful for our experience with Bridget. We didn’t realize there was so much we didn’t know and she was by our side advocating for us through everything during our labor. She has the most genuine heart and is full of love. We Love our doula!
- Morgan Jenkins
Bridget, right from the start, had a warm and inviting demeanor. I was going through a hectic time during my last trimester and Bridget was very understanding about my situation. She is well informed and really advocates for the mamas. I had an induction, opposite of what my birth plan was, and Bridget was there with me, every step of the way, rolling with the punches. She was also careful and not pushy when it came to having me advocate for myself when it came to certain procedures and policies at the hospital. During my actual labor, she helped me find the calm in a stressful situation and was there with me every step of the way. Truly grateful for her!
- A. Duenas
After interviewing several doulas during my pregnancy, I chose Bridget based on her positive personality and energy I knew I would need around me for my labor. She was very organized and supportive throughout pregnancy to prepare me for my labor. When I was past 40 weeks Bridget came over to help me with some positions to get baby to descend in hopes we could avoid an induction date set by my doctor. She was such a great resource for me as a first time mom who had many questions of what to expect. Although my birth didn’t go as planned, she helped me make informed decisions and didn’t leave my side during my labor or after delivery when I had a scary postpartum hemorrhage. Her kindness and caring nature were much appreciated when I was in a painful and vulnerable state. I would definitely recommend Bridget as a doula and will be using her again for my next birth!
- Abbie Gamboa
Bridget is a professional, wonderful, kind, understanding, informative, and patient emotional support doula! She helped both my husband and me stay informed on our labor and delivery process. We inquired with her about her services on a Sat. Had a phone consult with her the next day, even on a Sunday. We confirmed our services the following Wed. Met with her in-person the following Saturday due to a high risk of delivering our baby early. The following day, things turned quickly and she returned to the hospital to help guide us through a 30h labor and delivery process. This is our 3rd child but 1st time using a doula. This is our 1st pregnancy not near our moms. Having Bridget made a huge difference. She was very patient and supportive as best as she can with our situation. She provided us information to help us advocate for ourselves and when to accept what is being advised by the medical team. My husband and I were oblivious to various labor and birthing techniques and positions. Bridget showed us through demonstrations and various videos. She took a lot more pictures than we thought! We are very grateful for Bridget's flexibility and guidance. We will forever cherish our memories with her. She even checked in via text with me twice post-partum to see how baby and I are both doing. I prefer text and she communicated as requested. We definitely recommend her an emotional support doula!
- Carol DN
Bridget went above and beyond what I could have expected from a doula. I am a first time mom and did not know what to expect. From the very first phone call, she gave me her undivided attention and answered my questions. I found her website by searching online and I was really drawn to the help she provided. I was in search of changing providers and I was already past 35 weeks and in my final trimester of pregnancy. Bridget was able to recommend a few providers and I was able to switch and found a provider that worked for me. I was so grateful for the change over. She was actively there for me prior to my 38 week mark and answered every text, call and email in a timely manner even with her other clients. At my birth, she worked with my spouse and I to help provide the best possible birth for me. We brought my birth preferences and gave it to the nursing staff. Along with my spouse, Bridget and the nurses were all advocates for me during my labor and birth. Bridget brought some twinkling lights and essential oils that helped me relax. She traded shifts with my spouse and we even played some music and laughed. She helped give me snacks and kept me hydrated during my labor. At my postpartum visit and beyond, she has really provided the support I needed in my fourth trimester and we are forever thankful for her expertise. I can tell she gives every client her all and puts her heart into her work. That is what she did for us. Choosing Bridget was the best decision and I am so happy that she was a part of something so special to us.
- Jessica Dunn
Look no further! Bridget was a Godsend. From the first time I met her to the postpartum visit, Bridget has been a wealth of support and knowledge. Her positivity and caring spirit were exactly what I needed to help bring our little Reed into the world. We are so thankful for her! Anyone who chooses her for their birth is in great hands!

Bridget was amazing! She was there to cheer me on and help me with whatever I needed. I didn’t know it at the time, but my baby’s heart rate kept dropping. The nurses were there to rotate me and monitor both of us, while Bridget was there to counsel my husband during those critical moments. I HIGHLY recommend Bridget to any expecting mama, she brought so much comfort into the situation.

Bridget is amazing! I had such a wonderful birth experience with her by my side. She's very knowledgeable and she helped me with everything I needed (before, during , and after the birth of my son.) From the first prenatal visit to the last postpartum appointment, Bridget was incredible.

When I got pregnant with my first baby I knew I needed a doula, and Bridget stood out among the crowd. She was actually the one who encouraged me that as a FTM I could have a successful home birth, so I planned for that after talking w her. Bridget was there for me in the whole process, checking in even when I wasn’t close to labor just to see how I was doing. She came at a moments notice when I knew I needed support in early labor, and stayed w my husband and I at the house for close to 24 hrs for the whole thing, challenging me to try uncomfortable laboring positions and knowing also when I needed rest. So thankful for her in our journey!!

I am so glad we chose Bridget to be apart of our brith process. She is super knowledgeable in this area and is always advocating for her clients! She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and informed during labor and delivery. I feel like my birth could have gone very differently if we hadn’t hired her. Will try my best to have her for every birth!! If you’re thinking of getting a doula do it.

Childbirth is one of the most intense experiences many of us will ever go through-- that's why you need a doula for support, advocacy, and empowerment. Bridget provided all these things and more for me and my husband, allowing us to approach this life changing experience with information, resources, and a true birth partner ready to use all her knowledge and expertise on our behalf. From the beginning of the process to the end. Bridget truly went above and beyond and we can't imagine having hired a better doula. She has our highest recommendation and is worth every penny and more!

Bridget is so sweet and truly amazing at what she does! She is so encouraging and supportive. I had a VBAC homebirth and the whole experience was so beautiful! Every time I reflect on it, I'm forever grateful God led me to her, I seriously couldn't have done it without her by my side. She was so patient and attentive through the whole process. I always felt safe and at peace in her presence. There is something so special about her, and I know she's going to help so many women bring life into this world with her God given gift.

For any “mamas to be” searching for a doula, I highly recommend Bridget! From the beginning, she was so kind, compassionate, and thorough. She provided so much information and prenatal support leading up to my birth as well as genuine support and care for both me and my baby after the birth. She is a calming presence and will help you advocate for the birth you want and deserve!

I hired Bridget as my Doula and she was able to be there for me for all of my prenatal and postnatal appointments. Unfortunately, she was unable to make it to my labor and delivery, but she found me an amazing replacement that worked so well with our family. She also continuously sent me resources that I could use to help better myself and my baby. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her work! Definitely recommend!

I really liked that Bridget had her website posted with prices and services. I was able to contact her and we met up quickly. She took the time to get to know me personally and really informed me with the whole process. She was patient with my insurance to cover her doula fees because I have asthma and she completed all the necessary paperwork. She is very attentive when it comes to answering texts or calls with any of my questions or concerns. My baby wasn't due until April 21st but she came early on March 6th. During the labor, she reassured me with positive affirmations and really helped me with my breathing. Bridget continued to follow up with me after the birth and has become more than just my doula but a friend. I am really happy she came into my life and was able to help me bring my daughter into this world. Overall, I am very pleased with my doula experience as a first time mom. Thank you for everything Bridget!

I would highly recommend Bridget to any momma looking to hire a doula. She is extremely attentive, supportive and knowledgeable. I knew after having a c-section with my first born I wanted to try for a vbac and hire a doula. I believe she went above and beyond to help me find multiple vbac supportive providers, a chiropractor and a good pediatrician in my area. During my birth she was very encouraging and gave me the confidence and reassurance that I needed when it came time to push. I’m so blessed and grateful to have found such a kind and caring doula.

For my first pregnancy I knew I’d want a doula to help support me during birth, not only did I get immense support from Bridget throughout the months we spent getting to know each other but she also shared so much information and was constantly looking for new and best ways to consistently support me. I always felt super prioritized and still do even postpartum. Bridget always showed me all my options with each type of birth and how she could support me with each. I loved knowing that with any scenario i faced i would have a support person, especially one who didnt feel like a stranger and was super easy for me to bond with. Super grateful I found her and highly recommend for any mommas looking for a doula!

Bridget is so sweet and supportive! She brought a comforting presence to our birth and our third trimester when we began working with her. It was amazing having her as a confidant and she was extremely informative with all the questions we had as first time parents.

Bridget is a compassionate, kind person, and someone who is willing to take the time to listen so that she can meet your needs in the best way that she can. She is wholly passionate about birth and babies! I believe that any momma will benefit greatly from allowing Bridget’s guidance, support, & advocacy thru the uncertainties of pregnancy, delivery, & postpartum. Bridget was available for me anytime I had questions and came with valuable knowledge and referrals. I recommend Bridget to any momma who is looking for doula services.
