Hello! I'm Madison, I'm a trained Birth and Postpartum Doula; I am located in San Antonio and serve all of San Antonio and the surrounding communities. I'm passionate about supporting families through one of the most transformative experiences of their lives: childbirth. As a doula, I provide comprehensive support to expectant mothers and their partners before, during, and after childbirth, including invaluable postpartum care. My journey into doula work began after I had my 3rd child and had the amazing opportunity to have a doula for her birth. It made such a difference in my birth experience and helped me avoid having another traumatic birthing experience. Since then, I've dedicated myself to empowering birthing individuals to make informed decisions about their care and to advocate for their birth preferences. I specialize in military family births and postpartum because I was a military spouse and know the hardships that come along with it. In addition to offering emotional and physical support during labor, I also specialize in postpartum care, recognizing the importance of nurturing and assisting families in the delicate weeks following childbirth. From providing breastfeeding support and assisting with newborn care to offering practical assistance with household tasks, I aim to ease the transition into parenthood and ensure that families feel supported and cared for during this vulnerable time. I believe that postpartum support is just as vital as prenatal and birth support, and I'm committed to providing compassionate care that honors the unique needs of each family. Whether you're navigating the challenges of breastfeeding, struggling with postpartum mood disorders, or simply in need of a listening ear and a helping hand, I'm here to offer nonjudgmental support and guidance every step of the way. Support through Labor and 2 hours post delivery. No follow-up postpartum visits and no prenatal visits. **24 hours of labor support after that an additional $10/hr rate applies**
Up to 4 hours of daytime care and help or support or company. These visits are whatever YOU need!
Help overnight after baby is born.
2 visits before baby arrives (fisrst visit is usually at 28 weeks or later), 24/7 access for labor, questions, and concerns starting at 37 weeks until baby arrives. 1 postpartum visit within the first 2 weeks of baby's birth.
Ideal for someone looking for support through the whole pregnancy and postpartum period. Up to 5 prenatal visits (can be in your home or location of your choice or I can accompany you to appointments), 24/7 access for labor, questions, and concerns via phone and in person starting at 37 weeks. 3 postpartum visits until 8 weeks after the baby is born.
I offer support in various ways: ~Virtually ~Appointment Buddy-someone to go with you to your prenatal appointments and help you keep up with what your provider is telling you. ~Labor Support ~Postpartum Support ~Overnight Postpartum Support ~Sibling Support and Preparation- This can be a tough transition for them too! **I also offer military discounts for active duty and veterans **
