My husband and I got to work with Vanessa from Pocket Doula care for both our daughter’s birth and for postpartum recovery. I cannot say enough good things about both experiences. I went into birth as a first time mom feeling confident and secure knowing I had her there to help me with positions to deliver my baby unmedicated. When it came to postpartum, having her help overnight was such a game changer for both my mental and physical health. We don’t have family nearby so having those extra set of hands during the late nights and early mornings was beyond helpful. I have so many great memories with Vanessa keeping me company while I nursed my daughter at odd hours of the night… having the company really helped make it all feel more manageable. We used Vanessa with Pocket Doula Care for our family during my postpartum recovery. She was a key support piece and I can’t think about how things would have gone without her. We partnered with Vanessa during my pregnancy, and she was truly an incredible support system for both me and my husband.
