We absolutely loved having Christina as our overnight doula! She was always on time, reliable, and such a joy to have in our home. She helped coach us through the newborn stage with sleep and feeding strategies that helped our baby stay comfortable and sleep longer stretches—which saved us some much-needed sleep and sanity! Christina quickly felt like part of the family. We would talk and laugh before bed, and she embraced our toddler and even our dog just as much as our new baby. Her support was especially meaningful as I navigated being newly postpartum while also going through cancer treatment. We trusted her completely and are so grateful she was part of this season with our family. We would recommend Christina in a heartbeat!

Hi, I'm Anita Hermosilla (she/her), a Birth Doula, Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, and Community Birth Worker based in Austin, Texas. I provide continuous, holistic, evidence-informed support in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, helping families feel empowered, informed, and deeply supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. My work is rooted in both professional training and lived experience. I immigrated to the United States from Chile without the support of nearby family or a community to lean on. Becoming a mother while navigating a new country profoundly shaped the way I understand birth, healing, and the importance of compassionate support. I am the mother of three children: my oldest daughter was born through an unmedicated vaginal birth, while my twins were born by cesarean birth and spent time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Experiencing both an empowering physiological birth and the unexpected challenges of a surgical birth and NICU journey gave me a unique perspective on the many paths birth can take. These experiences taught me firsthand how important it is to feel heard, respected, and supported—regardless of how your birth unfolds. Every family's journey is different, and I believe every family deserves compassionate, nonjudgmental care. Since 2020, I have been a DONA International-trained Birth Doula with additional training in Rebozo techniques, Placenta Medicine, Sound Healing, and Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation Circle Facilitation. My work with Mama Sana Vibrant Woman, serving families throughout Central Texas, has deepened my commitment to reproductive justice, culturally responsive care, and supporting families from diverse backgrounds. Whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, an epidural, a scheduled cesarean, a VBAC, or simply hoping to feel more confident and prepared, my goal is to help you feel safe, informed, and empowered every step of the way. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you welcome your baby into the world.

Her kindness, knowledge, and encouragement gave me the confidence I needed to welcome my daughter into the world

Parris was my birth doula for my first and only birth so far and I have no reservations recommending her. From the initial consult to prenatal visits to the actual labor and delivery and post partum visit, Parris was attentive, courteous, and patient. Her actions in my delivery room avoided a c-section and her plethora of experience means that she has techniques for anything that might go wrong during your birth. I would go with her again if I have a second baby!

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Renea, and I founded Roots of Radiance from a deep passion for supporting families through some of life's most transformative experiences. As a birth and postpartum doula, mindfulness coach, Certified Medical Assistant, and healthcare educator with more than a decade of experience, I bring together evidence-based knowledge, compassionate care, and a holistic approach to emotional well-being. My journey into birth work led me to support families within birthing center settings, working alongside midwives and witnessing firsthand the strength, vulnerability, and beauty of the transition into parenthood. These experiences continue to shape the way I serve my clients today, with steady guidance, practical support, and a deep respect for each family's unique path. I believe that birth and postpartum are not simply events to move through, but profound rites of passage that deserve thoughtful preparation, meaningful support, and space for personal growth. Whether you are preparing to welcome your first baby or adding to your family, my goal is to help you feel informed, confident, and connected to yourself throughout the journey. Service is at the heart of everything I do. In addition to supporting my clients, I volunteer with families in my local community through Austin Angels, an organization dedicated to providing consistent support and meaningful connections to children, caregivers, and families. As an extension of that commitment, a portion of every Roots of Radiance booking is directed toward supporting the families I serve through these outreach efforts. It is truly an honor to walk alongside families during such a sacred season of life, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

Hiring Renea as our doula was one of the best decisions we made. During prenatal she was great support in planning our birth preferences and showing us exercises to utilize before baby got here. During birth she was integral in keeping me calm and flexible in my decisions. She also put me in several positions that made laboring easier. After birth she has been showing me so much support with postpartum hours by coming by and helping out with the baby on days where I’m exhausted. Through it all she’s been a great sounding board for all of my emotional concerns and questions around lactation, milestones, etc. I’m so happy we have her in our lives

I can’t say enough good things about Qualey! ❤️ She was absolutely amazing throughout my pregnancy and birth. From the very beginning, she made me feel safe, heard, supported, and completely comfortable. She was so helpful and reassuring, and I always felt like I was in good hands with her. What makes it even more special is that Qualey started out as my doula, but throughout my pregnancy and since my son’s birth, she became a true friend and a friendship I know will last a lifetime. ❤️ She was able to build that personal connection with me while still being incredibly professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire experience. My son is now 11 months old, and I can honestly say having Qualey as my doula was one of the best decisions I made. I would recommend her 1 million times over to anyone looking for a doula. She is truly amazing, and I’m so grateful she was part of such an important chapter of my life! ❤️

Angelique is amazing. The amount of support during my postpartum journey has been phenomenal! The prayers, the amount of phone calls I’ve made constantly since my daughter is my first child and all of the information given has made me at ease in my mind and heart. She is super knowledgeable on ALL things baby and postpartum. She made time to come visit me in person as well to make sure my wellbeing was in good shape! Thank you for everything!

Annie was an incredible support before, during, and after my birth! She met with my husband and I several times before my birth and ensured that we had the opportunity to share our desires and vision for the birth experience. She is empathetic and encouraging and always positive while also being realistic. She was the first member of my birth team we called when I went into labor and she came to our house promptly even though it was the middle of the night. From the minute she answered the phone I felt her calm and steady support. Once she arrived, she immediately jumped into action to support me with both verbal affirmations and hands-on work like hip squeezes and reminders to keep my muscles relaxed. She also encouraged my husband in his support of me and deftly gave him suggestions when he was unsure. (As this was our first baby, this was very reassuring for him, as neither he nor I had experienced birth before.) All throughout my long labor, Annie remained a stable, reassuring presence who helped me stay in the zone and always affirmed that I was strong and capable and was going to meet my baby soon! She and my husband were extremely hands on through the end of my pushing phase. Annie helped me get into different positions and used strategies to help me push more effectively. After my baby was born, Annie helped me to recover and clean up. She made me feel strong and beautiful as I came back to myself following birth. Throughout the whole birth, Annie was a great support and presence in encouraging me and jumping in without hesitation to help in whatever way she could. I highly recommend her as a doula!

Hi! I'm a postpartum doula building on a lifetime of loving babies and littles. Beginning with babysitting as a young teen, my fascination with and delight in tiny humans has fueled much of my volunteer and ministry work over the years. Now that I'm mom to 3 pretty incredible young adults, I was thrilled to find the field of postpartum doula work that is such a natural fit! I did my CAPPA training in May 2024, and completed the certification process in June 2025. What a gift and honor it is to be invited into a client’s home and to support and encourage new families as they make the transition to adding a new little person to their mix! Remembering so well how it feels to be a new mom, I love to help make life as easy as I can during this sweet and exhausting time! Cedar Park has been home for 11 years. Outside of my doula work, I'm cheering on my kids' various activities, having a great meal with my husband, or curled up with a good book.

Tara worked with us as a postpartum doula for our newborn baby earlier this year (2025) for around 2 months. I would highly recommend Tara as your postpartum doula. The reasons for my recommendation are as follows: 1. Tara is a very good doula. She is knowledgeable, experienced, and she genuinely loves caring for babies. She is evidence-based in her approaches, and she is a good teacher too -- she always explains her methods and ideas in a very clear manner. For example, she taught us about baby sleep cycles and how to tell which phase the baby is in. This practical knowledge really helped us understand our baby's sleep patterns. 2. Tara is very professional and always courteous. She is very polite, and has a warm personality. It is very easy to talk to Tara, from baby related topics to interesting experiences in life, and everything in between. 3. Tara is a trustworthy person. When Tara worked with us, I always felt very comfortable leaving my baby with Tara. I know that my baby will be in good hands, and that gives me peace of mind, and I can focus on running errands or getting some sleep. I highly recommend Tara to any family seeking caring, professional postpartum support.

I became a birth doula because I am in awe of the power of women. It is an honor to help you tune into the wisdom of your body, and to support your family as they learn how to support you. I help you find your breath when things get big. I remind your partner how to hold you. I help create a quiet, womb-like space—dim lights, soft sounds, warm water, and anything else that helps you feel safe, grounded, and undisturbed. I attend home births, birth centers, and hospital births. Wherever you feel safe is the right place to have your baby. My job is to help regulate the space, so that you can surrender. I offer peace of mind, solid education, and steady presence so you can meet this experience with courage. My care is personalized and client-led. I follow your rhythm. My approach is grounded in the belief that women already have everything they need within them to safely and instinctively bring their babies into the world. Whether this is your first baby or your sixth, your birth matters. Each one is a new journey, a new chance to grow and expand and meet yourself in a whole new way.

Hannah is a fantastic doula! She has so much information to share in the prenatal appointments that made me feel that much more prepared. She was present during my long labor - day and night - and offered so much support to me and my husband during the process. And her helping hand during my postpartum period was much appreciated as well. I'm so glad she was a part of my birth experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, caring, and dutiful doula.

Brigette was a wonderful doula for us! I personally interviewed many potential doulas for my birth and Brigette really stood out. Not only is she skilled in her practice but she has a great passion for what she does. During our appointments in advance of the birth, she brought resources and provided clear answers to our questions. And during the birth, Brigette came to support me in the middle of the night when my labor started, all the way through to the hospital where my birth story ended with the arrival of my little girl. Even after the birth, Brigette has been a wonderful support, checking in with us regularly and doing what she can to answer questions and provide additional resources. I highly recommend her!

Stephanie was an amazing support to have during my postpartum with both my pregnancies. Thanks to her, I was able to get the rest I needed at nights and sleep peacefully knowing my babies are in the best care. Not just as doula, but she is a great caring person. She gave me a lot of emotional support and encouragement during my breastfeeding journey. She is very meticulous and always on time, shares detailed notes end of every day and very flexible with our needs. I would recommend her to anyone looking for night doula.
