I am needing a new OBGYN that is a female as well as a foula that is covered by my insurance. I have been labeled a high risk pregnancy and I have concerns my OBGYN is going to try and force me out of my birth plans. Due Jan 9th 2027. Plan on hospital birth (only for emergencies if needed and meds if needed). I want to go as long as I can without meds, up and moving, yoga balls, and try different positions with labor including if an epidural is needed. (I don't want to lay in a bed and be miserable during contractions. I also don't want to push on my back.) I would need someone who is willing to set up a payment plan. Idk what the normal fees are but around $3,000 is what I could do. I am up for anyone as long as they are willing to be in my corner. Insurance is a Blue Cross Blue shield PPO.

Hi! I’m currently 34+ weeks pregnant with a due date of October 26, 2026, (that’s my 39th week, an induction was scheduled on that date) and I’m looking for birth doula support in Austin. I realize I’m reaching out quite late, but I’m wondering if you have any availability or a backup/team doula available for my birth. I’m planning a hospital birth and would love continuous labor support. Do you have any openings or cancellations for late October?

I plan to give birth at home, as naturally as possible. Our budget is around $1,000, but we are willing to pay more depending on the services. My birth plan is simply to have our baby at home and go from there. It's not a strict plan, and I'm open to changes that mean me and the baby are safe and healthy. No requirements needed, I'm happy to have someone who is new. I'm new to this, and we can learn together! Id love help with sleep training, lactation, postpartum.

I am not expecting yet, but I want to be fully prepared. I would like to have a natural water birth at a birthing center. I hope to not use any medication unless it is really needed. I have a mental health therapist and have struggled with many mental issues since I was around 12 years old. Fear is my biggest hurdle.

Hello - I am looking for a doula to be present with my husband and I during labor. I will be doing an Epidural, but still think it would be helpful given it's our first child and I'm 41. We are giving birth at Ascension Women's in Austin, TX.

I’m planning to give birth in a hospital, but I’m hoping for a low-intervention experience and would like to pursue an unmedicated/natural birth if everything is progressing safely. I’m looking for a doula who is very scientific/evidence-based and can help my husband and me prepare ahead of time, including developing a thoughtful birth plan and understanding our options and preferences around common hospital interventions. I’d also really value someone who can help educate us on the decisions we’ll need to make for the baby immediately after birth—things like routine newborn medications and vaccines, delayed cord clamping, skin-to-skin, bathing, newborn screenings, and other standard hospital practices—so we can understand the evidence, benefits and tradeoffs and make informed decisions with our medical team ahead of time. During labor and delivery, I’d love someone who can provide hands-on support, help with positioning and pain-management techniques, coach both me and my husband, and help us navigate decisions that come up while still working collaboratively with my medical team. I’m also interested in some postpartum support, ideally 1–2 visits after we’re home to check in on how both the baby and I are doing and help us navigate the early transition. Breastfeeding is important to me, so experience with lactation and practical breastfeeding support would be especially valuable.

I would like to have a low intervention birth. As this is my first child I would like to have birth either in hospital or borthing center.
