I plan to give birth at home, as naturally as possible. Our budget is around $1,000, but we are willing to pay more depending on the services. My birth plan is simply to have our baby at home and go from there. It's not a strict plan, and I'm open to changes that mean me and the baby are safe and healthy. No requirements needed, I'm happy to have someone who is new. I'm new to this, and we can learn together! Id love help with sleep training, lactation, postpartum.

I am needing a new OBGYN that is a female as well as a foula that is covered by my insurance. I have been labeled a [personal details hidden] and I have concerns my OBGYN is going to try and force me out of my birth plans. Due Jan 9th 2027. Plan on hospital birth (only for emergencies if needed and meds if needed). I want to go as long as I can without meds, up and moving, yoga balls, and try different positions with labor including if an epidural is needed. (I don't want to lay in a bed and be miserable during contractions. I also don't want to push on my back.) I would need someone who is willing to set up a payment plan. Idk what the normal fees are but around $3,000 is what I could do. I am up for anyone as long as they are willing to be in my corner. Insurance is a Blue Cross Blue shield PPO.

Accepting TRICARE is a must. Preferably someone who is POC and has extra attention on dynamics in hospitals where this may cause extra stress or neglect. Will be delivering at St. David's North Austin. Current plan is to use an epidural in a regular birthing suite.

Hi! I'm a second time mom, due January 13th, 2027 with a baby boy. I had a birth doula with my first (my daughter) back in Oct 2024 and loved the support I received and am just looking to explore my options this time since they were limited by my late search last time. I'm giving birth at the same hospital, now Ascension Seton Cedar Park and my OB is [name hidden] (hospital was ok and hoping them being bought out will help with the short staffing issue back in 2024, but had a great experience with my OB / her clinic so stuck with the hospital). What I'm looking for with birth doula support: - Helping me labor at home as long as possible (encouraging different comfort measures / positions to help labor progress. [personal details hidden]) - Setting mood in hospital room (essential oil diffuser, candles, dim lighting) - Staying entire time (last time I started to feel the urge to push while my doula was out, but already had the epidural so wasn't sure since it was my first time - I think I needed more advocacy support to allow me to start pushing / be checked earlier - the hospital was short staffed so only OB on call was with another patient for 2 hours after I started to feel this urge and I think waiting my have contributed to [personal details hidden]). - Encouraging different pushing positions even if I have the epidural (since I had never pushed before, and my doula was understandably tired by this point, I only tried side lying and on my back and pushed on and off for almost 2 hours which may have also contributed to my [personal details hidden]) Birth plan/budget: - I am open to an unmedicated hospital birth. I was able to get to 7cm last time before taking the epidural because [personal details hidden].
