I would prefer to avoid hospitals and find a midwife who has their own birthing center. I would like to stay under 9k and prefer someone who can do payment plans. My birth plan is 100% me and the father as well as any needed specialist or doctor. No family or friends.

I plan to give birth at a hospital, I would like to use as little medical intervention as possible. No pain meds, delayed cord clamping. I am high risk but only due to my age, 42. For postpartum we are looking for light cleaning and help with meals. We prefer a provider who has experience advocating for Black mothers. Also a woman of Christian faith is preferred but not required.

Hi I’m Caroline! I’m 27 years old, due November 25, an army wife, and this baby will be my first. I am nervous about a few aspects of birth-I’d like someone who can help guide me and tell me my options, help me labor as much as possible at home, and can help advocate for me in the hospital while helping me make informed decisions. Unsure about whether I want natural or epidural; I would prefer natural at this point but I’ve never experienced birth pain before so I want the ability to be flexible. Since I’m an army spouse, I’d need someone who can join me on post at BAMC. Based on other friends experiences, my expected budget is somewhere around $1,200. As far as birth plans go, I don’t know much since I’m still very early on. I do hope to labor as much as possible at home as I’m pretty scared of hospitals. I’d love to hear what some options are for birth plans.

A birthing center Low cost 👀 My birth plan is to sneeze and the baby just slides right out. Haha just kidding. I’m not too sure on my birth plan. This isn’t my first pregnancy and I went through the traditional obgyn/hospital route with my first and I hated it. Never thought they were listening to me and I was induced and I just want to do it and experience labor for my last baby. If that makes sense. I need guidance

I’m a first time mom 22 weeks pregnant and I’m giving birth at north central Baptist hospital in stone oak. It’s in my birth plan to labor until I can’t tolerate the pain any longer, I am okay with an epidural and other medication if medically necessary but I would like to labor without pitocin I intend on a vaginal birth however if I C-section becomes medically necessary and urgent I am open to that. I intend on exclusively pumping as I intend on going back to work 10-15 weeks after baby is born. I do not want to breastfeed or latch. I would prefer in person visits, if virtual visits are necessary or visits can be done virtually that is okay. I don’t know what to expect from a midwife or doula that an OBGYN wouldn’t offer as this is my first child. I’m have concerns for pumping because I’m larger chested and am afraid of sizing improperly, or pumping improperly. Any information would be incredibly helpful. My wife and I are looking forward a doula to support us with our first child at Stone Oak Birthing Center, San Antonio, TX. We have not decided budget yet, as we have not done large amounts of research. We plan for a natural birth with little to no medical intervention, per the birth at the Birth Center. We are looking for more of a support figure during this time period.

Hospital birth doula. I am an RN and know too much and get anxious for worst case scenarios. I want someone who is calm and birth knowledgeable.

I need someone to advocate for my husband and I at the hospital. I want a natural birth, without any unnecessary interventions. I want to be free to eat, drink and move. Get in the tub, change positions etc. I do not want a single male in the room, except my husband. I also need help because my husband has a severe TBI with neurocognitive issues and need someone who can give him his meds and make sure he’s ok and supportive to me while I labor. I may be interested in help for the first couple weeks after birth. I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety and they said I’m at high risk for post partum depression.
