I need someone to advocate for my husband and I at the hospital. I want a natural birth, without any unnecessary interventions. I want to be free to eat, drink and move. Get in the tub, change positions etc. I do not want a single male in the room, except my husband. I also need help because my husband has a severe TBI with neurocognitive issues and need someone who can give him his meds and make sure he’s ok and supportive to me while I labor. I may be interested in help for the first couple weeks after birth. I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety and they said I’m at high risk for post partum depression.

I am looking for an experienced postpartum doula / newborn care specialist to help care for my newborn. I am specifically looking for a trained professional with significant newborn experience, not a general babysitter or nanny. I would prefer someone who is certified as a Postpartum Doula or Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) and who has current infant CPR and First Aid certification. Experience with newborn feeding, soothing, safe sleep, diapering, bathing, and establishing healthy newborn routines is important. Please provide details of your certifications, newborn experience, references from previous families, and whether you have completed a background check. I would also like someone who is knowledgeable about current safe-sleep practices and is comfortable supporting the mother during the postpartum period. Duties will primarily focus on newborn care and postpartum support. Please include your availability, hourly/nightly rate, and whether you have experience with overnight newborn care.

I am planning to deliver at UT Health Women's and Children's Hospital in San Antonio and am currently 38 weeks pregnant. I am looking for a doula who accepts TRICARE Prime coverage through the TRICARE Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration. I am also looking for an on-call nanny or childcare provider who can care for my two children while I am in labor: Ryann, age 8 Santiago ("Santi"), age 1.5 We also have three dogs in the home, but no pet care will be required. Food and drinks will be provided for you during the time I am in labor and delivery. This will be my third baby. My first birth was an emergency C-section and my second birth was a successful VBAC. I am planning another VBAC and currently plan to receive an epidural for pain management. If an emergency C-section becomes necessary, I also plan to have a bilateral salpingectomy (tubal removal) performed at that time. I would prefer a doula with experience supporting VBAC families and hospital births. Breastfeeding support after delivery would be appreciated as I plan to breastfeed. Insurance: TRICARE Prime.

A birthing center Low cost 👀 My birth plan is to sneeze and the baby just slides right out. Haha just kidding. I’m not too sure on my birth plan. Hi I’m Caroline! I’m 27 years old, due November 25, an army wife, and this baby will be my first. I am nervous about a few aspects of birth-I’d like someone who can help guide me and tell me my options, help me labor as much as possible at home, and can help advocate for me in the hospital while helping me make informed decisions. Unsure about whether I want natural or epidural; I would prefer natural at this point but I’ve never experienced birth pain before so I want the ability to be flexible. Since I’m an army spouse, I’d need someone who can join me on post at BAMC. Based on other friends experiences, my expected budget is somewhere around $1,200. As far as birth plans go, I don’t know much since I’m still very early on. I do hope to labor as much as possible at home as I’m pretty scared of hospitals. I’d love to hear what some options are for birth plans.
