I have had a passion for the birth world for nearly a decade. It began in college when I worked as an Emergency Room Technician at a small town hospital. Although it was rare, we would occasionally have moms come in while in labor and I LOVED the excitement and thrill of the possibility of being a helping hand with a birth. I worked in the NICU for 10 years caring for preterm and sick full term babies and 10 years in the Mother/Baby unit caring for post partum mothers and their newborn babies.
