My wife and I welcomed our first son, Thomas, on June 29, and we genuinely cannot imagine going through this experience without our incredible doula. Labor began around 10:30 PM on June 28, and from the very beginning she was there for us. She came to our home around 1:00 AM and immediately brought a sense of calm, confidence, and reassurance during what could have been a very overwhelming time. Her presence helped my wife stay focused, comfortable, and emotionally grounded as labor intensified. We headed to the hospital around 3:30 AM, and she remained by our side every step of the way. Through the long hours of labor, she provided continuous support, encouragement, comfort measures, and guidance that were absolutely invaluable. Our son Thomas was born just after noon, and even after delivery, her support did not end there. She stayed with us until we were settled into our postpartum room around 3:00 PM, making sure we felt comfortable, supported, and cared for during those first precious hours as a new family. Looking back, one of the best decisions we made was hiring Kaitlyn as our doula. She played such an important role in helping us welcome Thomas into the world. She is truly exceptional.

Hire Kaitlyn as your doula! She supported me through my third full term labor after a previous loss. Due to that and plenty of other curve balls before and during the labor, it was ✨rough✨. I can’t express my gratitude for Kaitlyn’s support enough. She helped me navigate a confusing early labor experience and took time out of her schedule to visit me and see how I was doing for herself. During. The labor, I had a hard time expressing what I needed, and I felt like she had it figured out before me. If something wasn’t working and I said that, she immediately switched gears. At one point when an emotional block was suspected of stalling the labor, she spoke such encouraging words that helped me feel seen and understood. She also took the time to check in with my husband and make sure he was okay after the labor experience as well. She also got pictures and videos even though everything was so intense I hadn’t been able to request that. Seeing what the labor looked like from the outside helped me conflate it with the internal experience. Instead of just feeling like a wild animal out of control, I was able to see both perspectives and come to the conclusion that I am one tough cookie. 10/10 can’t recommend enough. She also hand fed me snacks while my midwives handled my postpartum care and I was holding my new baby on my chest.

I can't say enough great things about our experience with Kaitlyn! She is passionate about what she does and knows stuff. She had an answer for all of my questions during pregnancy and was incredibly supportive and patient during labor and delivery. I would hands down use her services again!
