About me

Hello! I’m Summer, and I have been supporting new families as a postpartum doula for the past 10 years. I completed my training through Austin Baby Guru and have had the privilege of walking alongside countless parents as they navigate the joys, challenges, and adjustments that come with welcoming a new baby. My passion for postpartum support comes from a deep belief that parents deserve compassionate, nonjudgmental care during one of the most important transitions of their lives. Whether it’s helping families establish routines, providing newborn care guidance, offering emotional support, or simply being a reassuring presence during those early weeks, I love helping parents feel confident and supported in their journey. In addition to my work as a doula, I have a background in early childhood education and years of experience caring for children of all ages. I also enjoy substitute teaching at my children’s school, which allows me to stay connected to my community and continue supporting children as they learn and grow. When I’m not working with families, you’ll usually find me spending time with my children, and/or my chickens, enjoying the outdoors, baking a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies.

Service introduction

As a postpartum doula, I provide compassionate, practical support to families as they adjust to life with a new baby. My goal is to help parents feel confident, rested, and supported during the postpartum period. Services may include newborn care guidance, emotional support, feeding support, sibling adjustment assistance, light household tasks related to baby care, and helping families establish routines that work for their unique needs.
