I have had a passion for the birth world for nearly a decade. It began in college when I worked as an Emergency Room Technician at a small town hospital. Although it was rare, we would occasionally have moms come in while in labor and I LOVED the excitement and thrill of the possibility of being a helping hand with a birth. This along with having midwifery care during my own pregnancies and births, eventually led me to began studying midwifery in 2018. During midwifery clinicals I was able to assist in many home and birth center births. I worked in the NICU for 10 years caring for preterm and sick full term babies and 10 years in the Mother/Baby unit caring for post partum mothers and their newborn babies. I am currently working as a night nurse/nanny and have been since July of 2023.I love teaching and supporting new parents in a conclusive and non-judgmental way.I am very flexible with my schedule and respectful of parent's wishes regarding care of their new baby.I provide breastfeeding assistance or can bottle feed while you rest.I do infant laundry and washing and sterilization of bottles and pump parts.
