I’ve been married to my husband for nine years, and together we’re raising three beautiful children: a curious 7 year old, a spirited 4 year old, and our sweet 2 year old. Motherhood has been one of my greatest teachers, and every birth story I carry my own and the ones I’m honored to witness has shaped the way I serve families. I welcomed my first child in a hospital setting. While I’m grateful for that experience, it also opened my eyes to how unprepared and disconnected many women can feel during birth. After that birth, and through the heartache of several miscarriages, I spent a lot of time praying asking the Lord to show me my purpose and how He wanted to use my story. In His perfect timing, God answered a lifelong prayer. After the home birth of my second son, everything became clear. I experienced firsthand the power of education, support, and trust in the body God designed. That birth changed me and in 2021, I became a doula. My calling is to walk alongside families with open hands and a steady presence, honoring both faith and informed decision making. For the past eight years, I’ve owned and managed a cosmetic store in downtown Nacogdoches, and before that, I worked as a CNA for three years.As well as a substitute teacher at a preschool for year. Looking back, caring for and connecting with people has always been at the heart of what I do. My love for birth work really began after supporting my best friend during her birth in 2024, but watching my sister give birth alongside her doula in March 2026 truly confirmed that this was where my heart belonged. That experience inspired me to start The Nurtured Nest, where I provide birth and postpartum doula support to families in East Texas.
