Hey y’all, I am Tabitha your Louisiana doula. I am a mom of 4 wild, wacky and wonderful kids. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula and training to become a placenta encapsulation specialist. Growing up I wanted to be a labor and delivery nurse. When I became an adult I realized the medical field was not for me. I worked at a daycare in the infant room for 2 years. After that I worked as a chiropractic assistant for 2 years. My favorite part of the job was working with pregnant women and infants. It wasn’t until after I was done having babies that I discovered just what a doula does. I was immediately convinced that I found my calling. I have always loved all things birth and motherhood. Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Pelican Nest

Are you running out of energy and running out of time? Do you need help preparing for baby’s arrival? Let your doula help you nest! Together we will finish baby’s nursery, organize baby items, clean and fold baby clothes, prep freezer meals & do light household chores. This package will be tailored to your nesting needs and will be a 3 hour session.

$250 USD · Flat rate

Birth Preference Planning

Would you like help with your birth plan but do not need full birth doula support? Together we will come up with your birth plan to present to your birth team. This is a 1 hour session.

$60 USD · Flat rate

Daytime Postpartum Support

Day support tailored to you and your family’s personal needs up to 12 weeks postpartum. This can include, but not limited to, light housework, meal prep, grocery pickup, lactation advice & basic newborn care. This package includes unlimited talk & text support. A minimum of 12 hrs are required at booking with shifts that are at least 2 hrs in length. 8AM-2PM. The minimum package price is $300. PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE

As your birth doula I make sure you are prepped for labor, offer personalized assistance during childbirth, help you create a birth plan that aligns with your preferences, offer continuous emotional support, and guide you through the early postpartum period. As a postpartum doula I offer daytime and nighttime support. We provide evidence-based information, non-judgmental care, and are dedicated to ensuring you have a positive birth experience and a smoother transition into parenthood. Frequently asked questions

Can I book fewer postpartum hours?

Not at this time, through my experience I have seen that the minimum hours required to book are best to support families. Any less hours can lead to an unsatisfactory outcome.

Do you offer birth support payment plans?

Yes! 30% is required at booking. We will then split the remaining fee into 2-3 payments. A payment schedule will be determined between the client and doula. The last payment is due at 36 weeks gestation. If there are any outstanding balances the doula will not go on call or attend the birth.

Can I still get an epidural?

YES!! As your doula, it is my job to support you in whatever decisions you make including pain management! I will support whatever choice you make regarding an epidural and will also support you with comfort techniques and positions that work well with the circumstances that come with it!

Do you offer postpartum payment plans?

Yes! 30% is required at booking. We will then split the remaining fee which will be due the week before the scheduled support days. If there are any outstanding balances the doula will not offer support for the upcoming week until payment is made. You can also add my postpartum services to your registry through Be Her Village.
