Heather Carmody, LM, CPM, is a Licensed Midwife with more than 25 years of experience serving families across East Texas. She provides comprehensive, evidence-based care throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the newborn period, with a focus on safety, informed choice, and individualized support. Heather is committed to improving maternal and infant outcomes in underserved and rural communities, integrating clinical excellence with compassionate, family-centered care. Through her leadership in both clinical practice and education, she works to expand access to high-quality midwifery services while empowering parents to approach birth with confidence and clarity.

Prenatal care with the monthly Rooted classes, birth center birth, postpartum and newborn care. We really believe in the value of the Rooted classes and offer a discount when you choose this option for care.
Our fees are adjusted according to family size and income.
I provide full-scope midwifery care from pregnancy through postpartum, using an evidence-based, holistic model that supports physiologic birth and optimizes maternal and newborn outcomes. My care centers safety, education, and strong provider–client relationships.

My wife became their patient at 25 weeks and we couldn't have made a better decision for her prenatal care. The appoints were always long and very informative. We had a scare and went to the hospital and Heather met us there and stayed for a few hours until she knew that we were ok. The birth went very smooth and was very homie and welcoming. Heather believe in my ability to give birth following a complicated cesarean when the doctors told me that my only option was a repeat cesarean at 36 weeks. She supported me as I welcomed my next three children into my own arms and only stepped in when necessary.
