Highly Recommend Thalia – An Amazing Birth Doula! I had the absolute privilege of having Thalia as my birth doula, and I cannot recommend her enough! Despite being based in Houston, TX, she traveled all the way to Los Angeles to support me during my birth, and her presence made all the difference. From our very first consultation, I knew I was in good hands. Thalia was incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive to my needs, both emotionally and physically. She took the time to understand my birth preferences and offered valuable support and guidance every step of the way. On the big day, she was a calm and reassuring presence, providing me with comfort, strength, and encouragement. Her support allowed me to have a positive and empowered birth experience. I truly believe that having Thalia by my side helped me achieve the birth I had hoped for. If you're looking for a professional, caring, and dedicated doula who goes above and beyond, look no further. I am also certified in Safe Sleep Education and HIPAA Compliance, and I am an active member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric & Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), allowing me to provide evidence-based care in alignment with OB-GYN and perinatal teams. My expertise lies in overnight newborn care, particularly with high-needs infants, including freshly discharged NICU infants, premature multiples, and medically complex babies, with experience supporting individualized feeding plans, including NG tube care and feeding tube management, in close collaboration with parents and medical teams. I am also experienced in developmental sleep conditioning and establishing structured yet gentle routines that promote healthy sleep patterns. I provide attentive, high-level postpartum support, ensuring both baby and parents are cared for with intention, discretion, and professionalism. I approach every family with a calm, intuitive presence, creating an environment that feels both restful and reassuring. My care style is gentle, detail-oriented, and rooted in safety, while remaining adaptable to each baby’s temperament and each family’s unique dynamic. I take pride in not only supporting infants, but also in guiding parents to feel confident, informed, and at ease during this transition. Having worked with singletons, multiples, and extremely preterm infants, I am comfortable in high-responsibility roles and thrive in environments that require both attentiveness and emotional intelligence. I am deeply committed to safe sleep practices and maintaining the highest standards of care at all times. In addition to my clinical experience, I bring a strong background in client relations, business development, and creative production, along with leadership training from Harvard Business School and a professional certificate in Corporate Finance from Columbia. This allows me to integrate seamlessly, communicate effectively, and uphold a high level of professionalism in every interaction. I am seeking opportunities with families who value a thoughtful, elevated level of care, where I can provide consistent, nurturing support while helping create a sense of balance, rest, and confidence during the postpartum period.

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Fontanne Bassey. She cared for my baby, Amelia, and was truly exceptional in every way. Fontanne stood out immediately for her professionalism, warmth, and deep expertise in newborn care. Fontanne specializes in working with newborns and demonstrated remarkable knowledge of baby development and activities. She thoughtfully introduced engaging, age-appropriate routines and executed them diligently and on time. She was always punctual, dependable, and communicated with me clearly and consistently throughout the day. Fontanne kept detailed track of Amelia’s naps, feedings, and general well-being, which gave me complete peace of mind as a parent. Beyond her childcare expertise, Fontanne went above and beyond in every aspect—cleaning bottles, offering to do light laundry, and keeping the nursery tidy and organized. Her calm, nurturing presence and proactive approach made her an invaluable support to our family. I wholeheartedly recommend Fontanne to any family, childcare agency, or educational program seeking someone who is compassionate, reliable, and deeply knowledgeable about infant care. She exceeded every expectation and will undoubtedly bring the same excellence, positivity, and dedication wherever she goes. Sincerely, Alma Frith

Caring for babies and supporting new families has always been a real part of who I am. Before I ever earned certifications, I was already the person everyone trusted with their newborns, toddlers, and the most sensitive moments of early parenting. Becoming a Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula simply helped me put skill and structure behind something that has always come naturally to me. I understand how overwhelming the newborn stage can feel from the exhaustion, the learning curve, the emotions that come with healing and adjusting and my goal is to bring calm, confidence, and comfort into a family’s home. I take my time learning each baby’s unique cues and each mother’s individual needs so I can support both in a gentle, respectful, and compassionate way. i believe every family deserves to feel supported, every baby deserves to feel safe, and every mother deserves to be cared for during one of the most important transitions of her life. I believe in nurturing the whole family, not just the newborn, by creating peaceful routines, offering evidence based guidance, and providing help that feels loving rather than intrusive. Whether I’m assisting with nighttime care, helping a mom rest and recover, supporting feeding goals, or creating a comfortable rhythm in the home, I show up with patience, kindness, and understanding. My intention is always the same to make those early days feel lighter, to help parents feel more confident, and to leave families feeling stronger than when I arrived.

Jessica's care went far beyond simply watching our son overnight. During every shift, she closely monitored him while also helping around the house washing bottles, doing his laundry, tidying up, and keeping everything running smoothly. She continuously educated herself on the latest infant sleep practices and shared that knowledge with us, adapting her care as our son grew and his needs changed. She didn't just care for our baby; she taught and supported us as parents. Jessica also brought so much genuine love and thoughtfulness to her work. She celebrated milestones with us, bought thoughtful gifts for our son, and truly cared about him as if he were her own family. Her warmth and generosity were evident in everything she did.

Anyia is amazing! While preparing for labor, she made multiple visits to my house and reached out continually to check in. She was quick to respond to text and phone calls and got to the hospital just after an hour after being admitted. From the moment labor began, she was such an incredible source of support, encouragement, and comfort. She was with me through approximately 14 hours of natural labor, helping me navigate contractions, offering encouragement, and reminding me that I was capable even during the hardest moments. When things didn’t go exactly as I had planned and I ultimately decided to get an epidural, she continued to support me without judgment and made sure I felt just as cared for. AND stayed with us for another 12 hours after getting the epidural. Although my birth experience didn’t look exactly how I had envisioned it, I have absolutely no regrets, and I feel so blessed that Anyia was part of our journey. Birth is unpredictable, and having someone by your side who is knowledgeable, compassionate, reassuring, and genuinely invested in your experience makes such a difference. I am so thankful for the role she played in bringing our sweet girl into the world. If you’re considering hiring a doula, I wholeheartedly recommend Anyia. You will be in such good hands!

Hiring Chelle was, without a doubt, the single best decision we made for our birth journey. From start to finish, she was endlessly patient, deeply attentive, and a true advocate for our growing family. Welcoming our baby boy into the world was an incredible milestone, but there were moments during labor when things moved fast and I wasn't fully aware of what was happening. She stood by my side, making sure my birth doctor fully respected my time, my voice, and my birth plan. I followed her expert advice and calming guidance every step of the way, which turned what could have been an overwhelming day into a remarkably smooth and genuinely enjoyable experience. Her care didn't stop in the delivery room, either. She captured the most precious, memorable photographs of our son's birth, moments we will treasure for a lifetime. And when we finally returned home from the hospital, walking into a house that she had quietly gone ahead and completely cleaned up and organized was the ultimate relief. She even stepped in to watch our newborn so my husband and I could catch our breath and truly rest. If you are looking for a doula who brings fierce advocacy, a comforting presence, and above-and-beyond postpartum care, look no further. We are endlessly grateful for everything she did for our family! *Honorable Mention* Her herbal teas are absolutely amazing! I have drank both her post and pre-birthing teas, and they definitely do exactly what they say they do! 10/10!

September 2026

Laura is absolutely amazing! I was a little late to the process of finding a doula, but I am so incredibly grateful for her flexibility, support, and guidance throughout my preparation for birth. Once I went into labor, Laura consistently checked in with me and my family until she was able to arrive at the hospital. When she arrived, I was asleep, but she immediately jumped in—introducing herself to my family, getting up to date on my progress, and building a wonderful rapport with everyone. Throughout my labor, Laura was such a calming and supportive presence. She helped me relax with essential oils, light hand massages, and breathing exercises. She worked alongside my nurse to help me change positions, supported me through contractions, counted with me during pushing, and even held my leg up while I delivered my daughter. She was truly there for me every step of the way. After my daughter was born, Laura also helped me with breastfeeding and getting my daughter to latch. Her support didn’t stop after we left the hospital. In the days and weeks following my birth, she continued checking in on me and my family, making sure we were doing okay and even providing additional resources when needed. I am so grateful to have had Laura by my side during such an important and emotional time in my life. She made me feel supported, cared for, and never alone. I would absolutely recommend her to any expecting mother looking for a compassionate and dedicated doula!
