About Shakina

Hi, I’m Shakina Coston, a certified birth, postpartum, and end-of-life doula based in Houston, TX. I’m also a proud mother of three, and my own birth experiences are what inspired me to support other women on their journey. I provide compassionate, calming, and judgment-free support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I understand how important it is to feel safe, heard, and cared for during such a life-changing time. Having a doula for all three of my pregnancies showed me just how powerful the right support can be. My goal is to create a peaceful, empowering experience where you feel confident, informed, and never alone.

Birth Doula Package

This package is designed to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout your pregnancy and labor. Includes: • Free consultation (virtual or phone) • 2 prenatal visits (birth plan, education, preparation) • 24/7 on-call support starting at 37 weeks • Continuous labor support (home + hospital) • Comfort techniques (breathing, positioning, relaxation) • Immediate postpartum support (1–2 hours after birth) • 1 postpartum follow-up visit This package is perfect for mothers who desire a calm, supported, and empowering birth experience.

Postpartum Doula Package – “Nurtured Recovery”

This package focuses on helping you rest, recover, and adjust after birth with gentle, hands-on support. Includes: • Newborn care guidance • Breastfeeding support • Emotional support and check-ins • Light household assistance (baby-related) • Education on healing and recovery Daytime and limited overnight support available. (minimum 3 hours per visit)

$35 USD · Per hour

Virtual Support Package – “Guided & Supported”

Perfect for mothers who want guidance, reassurance, and education from the comfort of their home. Includes: • Birth planning support • Pregnancy and postpartum guidance • Q&A sessions • Emotional support Available via phone or video call.
