Valerie is a Newborn Care Specialist with additional sleep conditioning training. She has a heartfelt dedication to helping families feel empowered, supported, and—perhaps most importantly—well-rested. Since formally stepping into the newborn care space, Valerie has worked with over 11 families, including two preemies, and has supported a variety of unique newborn needs. Her experience includes working with infants with reflux and milk allergies, navigating breastfeeding challenges such as lip and tongue ties, and supporting mothers experiencing postpartum depression. With compassion and attentiveness, she provides not just infant care, but emotional support to parents adjusting to life with a newborn. Valerie is particularly skilled in breastmilk handling and storage, including techniques like separating day and night milk to support the development of healthy circadian rhythms. She emphasizes the importance of communication and routine, working closely with parents to set up personalized sleep conditioning plans. Her calm presence and detailed education help parents gain confidence, establish healthy habits, and get the sleep they need. As a mother herself, Valerie understands the challenges and joys of new parenthood. In her free time, she loves being with her family—including her two “granddogs.” She looks forward to continuing her journey of learning and supporting families through this incredibly special time in their lives.
