Having Daniella as our doula was the best decision for our most recent birth. Daniella helped us write our birth plan, find the right doctor that fit our preferences, coached both my husband and I on labor strategies, and so much more. I was able to ask her any questions I had about labor and/or breastfeeding and she answered them all with kindness and without judgement. She is very informed about birth and with her healthcare experience, she made our time in the hospital very smooth. She knew what questions to ask the nurses and helped me continue progressing in labor. She provided tools for me to use during labor and helped me work through contractions when needed. She also gave us space when my husband and I were working well together and stepped in to offer some advice on movements and/or breathing techniques. She brought candles and essential oils to the hospital and made sure the room was set up just as I wanted to create a calm birth space! And when I reaching my due date and facing a potential induction, she met with me at a coffee shop and helped ease my worries, knowing I did not want to be induced. I really needed that in the moment, and I am so grateful she took the time to suggest we meet and chat. It just shows how thoughtful, compassionate, and genuine she is.
