Hi, I’m Meg, a certified holistic full-spectrum doula offering support through every stage—prenatal, birth, postpartum, and newborn care. With over eight years of hands-on experience as a nanny, combined with my roles as a mother and auntie, I bring both professional knowledge and deep personal care to the families I serve. I am Chelsey Hernandez Whitcomb, CLD, HCHD. I graduated with my B.A. with Honors in History from Houston Baptist University in 2009 and taught school World History, AP World History, and AP Psychology for 12 years before leaving teaching to work from home in marketing. In March 2024, I realized how much I missed serving families, so I decided to work as a doula and childbirth educator full time. As an educator at heart, I believe continual education is the cornerstone to our growth as individuals and it is my hope to share my knowledge and experience with you during this special time. I offer personalized prenatal, birth, and postpartum support to women and their families. My goal is to give you and your family the support and knowledge you need to make informed decisions about the care you receive during your pregnancy and throughout the labor process. I completed my doula training with Shannon Stellhorn of A Sacred Journey Midwifery Services and Doula Training Program in Houston, Texas, in February 2018 and finished all certification requirements in October 2019. In April 2018, I completed a training on Integrating Acupressure Comfort Measures into Your Doula Practice for Pregnancy Care, Labor Support, and Postpartum Care, with Nicholas Olow, M.S., L.Ac. and in August 2019 I attended a Spinning Babies Workshop consisting of 14 hours taught by Rachel Shapiro, CPM, LM, SpBT, to be a Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator. In February 2021, I also attended a virtual workshop with Adilah Yelton to offer Bengkung Belly Binding to my clients. I am proud to say that as of December 17, 2021, I am officially a trained Hypnobabies® Hypno-Doula after scoring a 100% on my Hypno-Doula Training and am able to assist mothers who have already taken a hypno-childbirth class such as Hypnobabies® or Hypnobirthing.
