My name is Jade, and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I am a mother, an advocate, and the heart behind Crowned Birth Roots. I chose this path because I believe every mother deserves to feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered throughout her pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. My passion is rooted in advocacy and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of families. As I learned more about the maternal mortality and morbidity rates affecting mothers, I knew I wanted to be part of the change by providing compassionate, informed, and unwavering support.

After years of social justice work, community organizing, and healing facilitation, Tyne became a birth worker in 2023. She focuses on providing grounded, evidenced-based, love and support for families. Most important to me- is that you have the information to make your birth your own, and feel supported & loved while doing so. After she began working as a doula and seeing the disparities amongst mamas, she started providing my services on a sliding scale and mainly works with moms on medicaid through GALS. Tyne is trained through Doula Trainings International, and works with Giving Austin Labor Support (GALS) as an On-Call Doula for Austin hospitals. She also is training through BEST Doula Program for placenta preparation. Tyne is also a trained healing circle facilitator, worked with an indigenous midwifery school Ruruchay in Peru, and loves to support clients through the emotional journey of birth. In addition to birth work, Tyne graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Human Rights, and finishing her masters in Community Organizing and Social Activism. She has worked in several non-profits for the past 6 years. Tyne has also been an actor, director, and performer for over 10 years. Hello wonderful parents! I’m Kayla. I’ve raised my 3 siblings on my own, and i am currently pregnant with my own son( due in July) I’ve also worked in plenty daycares since the age of 15. Therefore i have plenty of experience. I haven’t worked with any ages over 3 years old besides my siblings, so I’m not quite experienced with the older kids. I am however willing to give it a shot. I’m 20 years old( lol very quick on my feet to chase the littles) I’m currently a junior in college studying for my degree in early childhood. Your probably thinking A very young junior i know, but I graduated high school a year earlier than my class. Therefore I have all the capabilities to teach your littles and/or help with homework. However all of my classes are online so, I’m free whenever you need me to be. I’ve worked with children for years and I do it because it’s my passion. I want to be the best teacher there is & practicing with jobs such as these are a great help to me.
