I remember the first conversation I had with Elissa over the phone when I was inquiring about her services. She was so friendly, patient in answering my questions, and knowledgeable in all of her responses! I knew quickly I wanted to work with her! She was punctual to all of our meetings, quick to respond anytime I reached out to her, and she always provided articles and research to back up those answers. I was continually impressed by her and always felt so comfortable with her! She was an incredible coach and support during my birth. I also felt like she had the perfect balance of supporting me and coaching my husband through how to support me as well. She listened to what I needed and made everything clear to me every step of the way. She was a great advocate once my daughter was born to ensure I got everything I wanted (delayed cord clamping, skin to skin, and even certain photos or videos)! I could not have done it without her and I cannot recommend her enough! She helped me have the exact birth experience I hoped and worked for!

I had a successful VBAC on 8/30/23 with Elissa as my birth doula. She did a wonderful job helping me get through labor. She was very helpful and attentive wether it was getting me more ice chips or rubbing my back and helping me get through a tough contraction. She was able to guide me through different labor positions and excercises in an effort to progress my labor, which was very helpful since it was very slow in the beginning. When it came time to push she was right there with me and my husband reminding me on the best push technique for my situation and cheering me on. She also asked the nurses and doctors things that helped me understand the process better and she was there to advocate for me to ensure everything that was being done was what I ok with. I am very happy my husband and I decided to enlist her help through our birth process.

There are so many things I could say about Elissa, she was an absolute rockstar during my labor towards myself and my husband. My labor started off super quick by the time I called Elissa she knew it was time because I had already had one previous child and that one was fast! By the time I got to the hospital Elissa had beat me to labor and delivery. Talking with the nurses while I was 5 cm dilated was so easy with her by my side helping through the contractions. We had already talked prior about what kind of labor I wanted if possible, so her already knowing that going in made the world of a difference. During the contractions, Elissa had brought things to help me during natural labor, such as things to calm me, massage my back, relieving  pain using pressure points and comfort items. As for my husband she kept him informed on what was happening to my body, showing him massages to relieve my discomfort and kept him calm. It turned out to be a very memorable day thank you so much Elissa!
