Right out of the gate we knew Malorie would be a great fit for our needs. She was very informative, non-judgemental and maintained a calm, reassuring demeanor throughout the entire process. Malorie's support and education leading up to the delivery was an invaluable resource to us. During times of uncertainty, Malorie's unwavering guidance and confidence in us really paved the way for us to have an informed and healthy delivery. Our educational sessions were critical in making us feel confident about the whole process, as well as informed but not stressed about potential risks. She took the time to answer all of our questions, both during our sessions, as well as over text/phone calls. She checked in on us regularly throughout the pregnancy, making us feel listened to and valued.  Throughout the labor and delivery she was a very reassuring and calming presence in the room with us, providing encouragement and helpful strategies to give us the best experience possible at the hospital. Malorie worked alongside hospital staff to advocate for Stephanie's preferences, including working through different positioning during labor, as well as ensuring skin to skin was a priority post delivery. We felt she went above and beyond our expectations to be there at the hospital with us, and advocate for mom and baby.  In post-partum, Malorie was one of our loudest cheerleaders. She checked in on us regularly, helped us adjust to parenthood and provide us with tips for caring for our newborn. She helped us find confidence in some of our most vulnerable moments, and always made sure our family was healthy both physically and mentally. If we ever require Doula services in the future, we wouldn't hesitate to approach Malorie.
