I am a mom of 3, and I had very different journeys with each. I know firsthand that no pregnancies, labors, births or postpartum recoveries are the same, and therefore should be treated with respect and understanding for the individual. As your doula, I will hold space for you to fully understand all information being given to you, ask your questions, make your own well-informed decisions, and be confident in your choices.

Hello, all !! Allow me to introduce myself- I am Zaira , mother of 4! I have a passion for all things pregnancy, birth and motherhood!! I am a lactation counselor of 9 years who has recently completed my birth doula certification! After bein in the breastfeeding world I realized that many women didn’t have the tools or knowledge at birth that they woudl if they actually who had someone helping them along the way, I am striving to show other moms out there , as well as my Hispanic community: También HABLO ESPAÑOL ! I would love to connect with you all! North Houston local …. Spring, Porter, Conroe, Woodlands TX
Having Zaira as my doula was amazing. She came to my home when I was having prodromal labor and helped me do exercises that got me into actual labor that same night. She stayed by my side the whole time at the birthing center and looked out for my husband like I requested when she saw he was in shock after our baby was born. When I felt like I couldn't do it anymore she reassured me that we where almost at the finish line and talked me through to the end.

Hi mom and dad! I’m Lavi, a certified postpartum doula in newborn care specialist. I’ve been supporting families for over 8 years - with breast-feeding education, newborn sleep support, overnight care, meal prep, and lifestyle changes for high-risk pregnancies. I love all things, mom and baby and a mother of two boys myself (17 & 12). I would love to help you get acclimated to your new baby, get settled into a new rhythm, and feel confident in parenting. Feel free to reach out. I work with a team of trained, certified and background checked doulas and we are all here to help you build your village!
My wife and I really enjoyed working with Lavi. I reached out to her because my wife was very overwhelmed and I was about to return back to work. She came in our household and really helped my wife find peace. She helped our baby fall asleep on a schedule (which she is still on), she always made sure my wife had something to eat, every time I came home from work my wife was very relaxed and I learned a lot about how I can help. I think she made a huge difference in our lives and I’m very glad that she was able to support us.

Hello! So great to meet you, I'm Max! I am a LGBT/ Queer affirming birth doula who brings a unique perspective to the pregnancy and laboring experience. My background in body work and physical therapy gives me a distinctive understanding of how to apply my skills as a doula to physiological birth. My calming presence is reassuring to those I'm supporting, and their families. I am passionate about empowering all pregnant and birthing people. My strength is my adaptability; which allows me to support families in their choices. I am a parent to my 12 year old clone, who I birthed at home. I run a suburban goat farm and have two giant fur babies that try to steal my bed. (Great Danes named Freyja and Kuma). I enjoy dad jokes, puns, and free books. I identify as a transmasc, nonbinary human. I use they/he pronouns.
HE ID BEYOND AMAZING!! Even the hospital Staff were surprised by his knowledge and said they wish more duals were like him! I love how we met once a month to talk about how I was doing and even visited me at home after I gave birth. When he says he is in it for the long haul he means it! I was induced on the 18th and did not have my son till the 20th he stayed with me the whole time!

Kameryn was everything my husband and I we looking for as first time parents. Do not hesitate to work with her! She gave us great exercises, and techniques to help our birth be seamless as possible. From creating our birth plan to the actual hospital visit, Kameryn was professional and caring. She made sure my husband and I was aware of all of our options and supported whatever decision we made. She was a great advocate with the nurses, and made sure all of my request were met, when possible.

A wife, mother of two, and proud Houstonian. Giving birth to my first child was a transformative experience. I quickly realized how much I didn't know about breastfeeding and the numerous options available to me during birth. This lack of knowledge was overwhelming, and I couldn't help but think about other first-time moms who might be feeling the same way. That moment sparked a deep desire within me to do more— to guide and support other women as they transition into motherhood. Driven by this passion, I became a life coach for mothers, helping them navigate the beautiful yet challenging transition into motherhood. But as my passion for maternal support grew, I felt motivated to do even more. After much reflection, I decided to pursue a career as a doula.

I have been preparing birthing couples since 2013. Unhappy with the support I received during my first birth, my sister encouraged me to take an independent childbirth class. My second birth was healing and my third birth was empowering. This started my passion for safe, natural when possible, and empowering birth. I have since become trained in Spinning Babies, Rebozo use during labor, Neonatal Resuscitation, and Bengkung belly binding. I have taught over 300 couples and attended dozens of births, either as doula support or as a midwife birth assistant. I am a certified breastfeeding specialist that is currently going through the process of becoming an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). I'm married to my best friend of 10 years and we have 3 vivacious children together. Two of those children are deaf and we enjoy learning ASL and signing together. When I'm not reading articles about birth, I can be found chasing my kids around the park or folding laundry. It’s a toss up. My birth stories are all different from each other. I believe this shapes my teaching. My first birth, I did not know about the Bradley Method®. My mother gave birth in Vietnam without drugs and her only advice was “you just do it”. Because she said she did it, I thought naturally I would be able to and did not consider learning different coping techniques. For my first birth, unable to cope with the pain, I began to hold my breath and tense up. This ultimately caused my labor to stop and I was given Pitocin and the cycle continued. I eventually was given an epidural and my son was born by vacuum extraction. My daughter, my second birth, on the other hand has a completely different birth story. I had a short, six hour labor. I firmly believe learning all the physical exercises, practicing relaxing, and knowing the best birthing positions sped up the birth and caused me to give birth with ease. I was calm and happy after giving birth. By the time the doctor arrived I had already breastfed and my daughter was sleeping peacefully. He was amazed and commented on how we as a family appeared stoic. My third birth was a quick homebirth. I was excited to practice everything I had been teaching! My husband caught our last child and we consider it our best teamwork. Both my husband and I noticed a big difference in how I felt after my last two births. Because of the vast differences in my birth experiences, I feel the need to tell every women. What better way than by becoming a Bradley instructor.

I am passionate about all things, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum! I believe that everyone deserves to be informed on all of their options, risks and benefits, of all interventions and procedures. my favorite part about being a Doula is providing birth education to my clients!
Jessi was the best doula I could ever ask for. If I had to go through the pregnancy, labor and birth all over again, I would choose her again in a heart beat. Not only did she take the time to answer all my questions, she was a great support when my home birth plans changed to the hospital due to pre eclampsia. She walked me through the risks and benefits of all the interventions that were presented to me. She was a calm and caring presence at the labor and birth that I do desperately needed when my plans changed. I will never be able to explain to her what a great comfort she was to me at the labor and birth. You need her as your doula. You will not be disappointed.

My name is Mitsuzi, and I am a certified Doula in the Houston area. With over 10 years of experience as a labor and delivery nurse, I transitioned to becoming a Doula because I truly love connecting with people one-on-one, educating them about birth, and being their strongest advocate. Nursing was rewarding but challenging when it came to balancing clinical duties with advocacy, so I made the switch to focus entirely on supporting mothers through their birthing and postpartum journeys. My goal is to place you at the center of your experience, ensuring you feel satisfied, seen, heard, and fully understand everything happening to and within your body. I am dedicated to helping you have a nurturing postpartum experience, filled with the support and care you deserve.
She is just great

Howdy! My name is Aniya, and I am a faith-based birth and postpartum doula! From a young age, I felt called to support families in birth, initially dreaming of becoming a labor and delivery nurse—until a home birth video shifted everything, revealing that my true path was midwifery. Rooted in my Christian faith, I began pursuing doula certification and seeking mentorship, knowing this work was both a calling and a ministry. I’m dedicated to assisting mothers and their families through the transformative experience of childbirth. I emphasize and provide emotional, physical, and informational support to ensure a positive birthing experience. My mission is to empower mothers, promote informed decision-making, and cultivate a nurturing environment that respects individual choices and preferences. Please reach out with any questions! I look forward to connecting! Aniya! (409)474-2244 communioncare@gmail.com
I quite appreciate the care and commitment to ensuring a safe ( and as natural) delivery as possible. My Doula (Aniya) was happy to review my birthplan, had an unbiased view of natural and medical interventions. She worked with my personal preferences for my delivery and I did not feel pressured on way or another. Her calm demeanor was quite soothing as She helped me during labor with different maneuvers/positions to soothe my pain and optimize my baby descending. She was also quick to respond to my questions through out ( before and after delivery). If you are looking for a God fearing ( Christ- centered Doula) with professionalism, I do recommend COMMUNION CARE!
