I am needing a new OBGYN that is a female as well as a foula that is covered by my insurance. I have been labeled a high risk pregnancy and I have concerns my OBGYN is going to try and force me out of my birth plans. Due Jan 9th 2027. Plan on hospital birth (only for emergencies if needed and meds if needed). I want to go as long as I can without meds, up and moving, yoga balls, and try different positions with labor including if an epidural is needed. (I don't want to lay in a bed and be miserable during contractions. I also don't want to push on my back.) I would need someone who is willing to set up a payment plan. Idk what the normal fees are but around $3,000 is what I could do. I am up for anyone as long as they are willing to be in my corner. Insurance is a Blue Cross Blue shield PPO.

I am a first-time mom expecting to deliver at UT Southwestern Hospital in Dallas. I have Cigna insurance and am looking for a compassionate, experienced birth doula who can provide prenatal education, continuous labor support, and postpartum guidance. I would like someone who is calm, knowledgeable, and advocates for informed decision-making while respecting my birth preferences. This is my first baby, so having emotional support, comfort measures during labor, and breastfeeding support after delivery are important to me. I would like a very well educated, knowledgeable, and experienced doula not only with birthing but assisting in birthing/delivery with a black woman. I have tricare west insurance.
