Baby has been having latching issues causing pain and discomfort to my wife and I am looking for lactation consultants to help us navigate through.

10 week old with bottle preference, would like to continue breastfeeding

First baby, planning on giving birth at Seton/ Ascension on w 34th. Prefer vaginal birth with epidural, if a c section has to happen am okay but don’t want it forced. Care is for advocating for the mother at the hospital, teach mom and dad the ropes of having a kid, and other. unsure what the budget is, open to discuss :), Unsure what’s provided but open to hearing more. We haven’t had a kid before so we really want to learn the ropes. Would like to meet you prior to giving birth, have you present at birth, and a few days after to help us transition and teach us the basics of being first time parents. In person please! Thanks!

Two-week old with shallow latch, have BCBS of Texas and may be willing to pay out of pocket. Would prefer in home visit as had C-section.

I plan to give birth at home, as naturally as possible. Our budget is around $1,000, but we are willing to pay more depending on the services. My birth plan is simply to have our baby at home and go from there. It's not a strict plan, and I'm open to changes that mean me and the baby are safe and healthy. No requirements needed, I'm happy to have someone who is new. I'm new to this, and we can learn together! Id love help with sleep training, lactation, postpartum.

I’m a first time mom 22 weeks pregnant and I’m giving birth at north central Baptist hospital in stone oak. It’s in my birth plan to labor until I can’t tolerate the pain any longer, I am okay with an epidural and other medication if medically necessary but I would like to labor without pitocin I intend on a vaginal birth however if I C-section becomes medically necessary and urgent I am open to that. I intend on exclusively pumping as I intend on going back to work 10-15 weeks after baby is born. I do not want to breastfeed or latch. I would prefer in person visits, if virtual visits are necessary or visits can be done virtually that is okay. I don’t know what to expect from a midwife or doula that an OBGYN wouldn’t offer as this is my first child. I’m have concerns for pumping because I’m larger chested and am afraid of sizing improperly, or pumping improperly. Any information would be incredibly helpful. My insurance covers lactation consultant visits I believe
