Seeking Overnight Newborn Care Specialist / Postpartum Doula for Twins – Manvel, TX My wife and I are expecting di/di twins around April 2027 and are looking for experienced overnight newborn support in our home in Manvel, TX. We are open to working with a Newborn Care Specialist, postpartum doula, experienced night nanny, or nurse with strong newborn experience. Our biggest priority is finding someone who is confident independently caring for two newborns overnight. What we're looking for: - Significant newborn experience, preferably with twins or multiples - Available for overnight shifts after the babies come home - Comfortable independently caring for both babies - Infant CPR certified - Knowledgeable about current safe-sleep practices - Comfortable supporting breastfeeding, pumping, formula, or combination feeding - Able to keep track of each baby's feeds, diapers, and sleep - Willing to help with newborn-related tasks such as bottles, pump parts, and keeping the babies' area organized - Experience with premature babies or NICU graduates is a big plus - Reliable transportation to Manvel, TX - References from previous newborn families Because twins can arrive earlier than expected, we're looking for someone with some flexibility around the exact start date. We're currently exploring how many nights per week and how long we'll need overnight support, so we're open to discussing different schedules and shift lengths. When reaching out, please include: - Your experience caring for newborn twins/multiples - Certifications and training - General availability around April 2027 - Overnight rates for twins - Typical shift length and any minimum requirements - Whether you service Manvel, TX - Whether you have experience with premature babies or NICU graduates We're starting our search early because finding someone we trust and feel comfortable with is very important to us. Thank you! Jeremy & [name hidden]
An unmedicated birth in a water tub. I want my partner to be there and be guided into how to be supportive during this time too. I have bluecrossblueshieldof tx the hmo plan. I plan on a delayed cord clamping. I don't earn a lot so I can only afford 2000-3000 total
I am debating between giving birth at home or at a hospital. I hear women of color die more often in Tx hospitals than anywhere else so I’m very hesitant. I don’t want to lie down during labor, I want to squat. I am not sure what my budget is quite yet but I do want someone experienced. This will be my first child, my mother will fly down and stay for two months to help. But once she leaves I may or may not need help with sleep.

Hi! My husband and I are expecting our first baby in February 2027 and plan to deliver at Texas Women in Houston Texas. We’re looking for a kind, experienced doula to support us during labor, help with pain management, and involve my husband. I’m still undecided about my exact birth preferences and plan.
