We are seeking an experienced newborn care specialist and infant sleep consultant to help us improve sleep routines for our 5.5-month-old baby boy. He is healthy, growing well, and primarily breast milk fed. We would like support with age-appropriate sleep schedules, wake windows, nap structure, night wakings, and gentle sleep training approaches that are developmentally appropriate and responsive. The ideal provider has formal newborn care specialist certification and demonstrated experience working with infants 4 to 6 months old. Strong knowledge of infant sleep science, feeding schedules, and calming techniques is important. We prefer someone who uses gentle, non cry-it-out methods and can coach parents with clear guidance and reassurance. Infant CPR and first aid certification is required. Care will focus on sleep support, routine optimization, feeding transitions, and parent education. Additional duties may include helping establish consistent bedtime routines, troubleshooting short naps, offering guidance on night feeds, self-soothing, early solids introduction, and other baby-related tasks as needed.
Natural labor help Third natural birth planned Assistance with labor and contractions for a safe unmedicated birth and delivery
My baby is 5 months old and wakes up multiple times throughout the night. We’ve reached a point where she won’t sleep unless she’s being held or someone is lying next to her. We never co-slept until she hit the 4-month sleep regression, which completely exhausted us. The only way any of us could get sleep was to have her in bed with me while my husband slept in the other room. Now that we’re past that phase, it’s almost impossible to lay her in her bassinet. Even when we manage to put her down, she doesn’t stay asleep. Her naps are only 10–15 minutes, and before 4 months she used to give us 4–5 hour stretches in her bassinet. Now, unless she’s in bed with me, she barely sleeps. She also wakes up as soon as she notices I’m no longer next to her. All I want is for my husband to be back in bed with me and for her to sleep better on her own.
I have an exclusive Breast-fed baby she is almost 3 months and I can not get her to take a bottle for a full feed or a Passy. Stories it’s hard to burp her so she is gassy and also if she isn’t full enough or is gassy she can’t sleep 3 hrs. I want to pump and slow down on nursing her so I can get back into working more. I also have Medicaid.
I have a 3 & 4 year old in addition to a new baby. We’re looking for someone to help put the older two to bed in the evenings once Abby had arrived.
Planning to give birth in the hospital. Would like to be able to avoid c section and learn all the techniques and have an easier delivery. I want my doula to be at the hospital with me during labor. I prefer if you were or still is a labor and delivery nurse as well.
