This my first baby. I am looking to deliver vaginally and wanting the best ways to support my body through the labor process. I am planning to deliver at the Women's Hospital of Texas. I want to make sure I have the best support throughout this experience. Also, I want my husband to also be a part of the labor experience so I'd love for him to learn how to help with counter pressure.
Birthing center preferred, natural water birth. Very comfortable environment with gospel or calming music. Family friendly. I have blue cross blue shield insurance.
I am a first time mom and I plan to give birth at the hospital. I’m not sure about a budget. I haven’t fully constructed my birth plan, but I know for sure I want my birth and delivery as natural, low maintenance, unmedicated vaginal birth. I don’t want the umbilical cord to be cut right away, no episiotomy, I want to my placenta to come out naturally, I don’t want to push on my back, non-medical coping strategies, using my own linens, delayed cord clamping, skin to skin immediately/uninterrupted golden hour with mom first hour then dad, I and/or my husband will be present at all tests (baby will not be out of our sight), lactation consultant asap, breastfeeding immediately, birthing ball, remaining mobile, intermittent monitoring, saline locked, care clustered and DND sign, labor down, dimmed lighting, my own music, delayed bath, have my placenta come out naturally and encapsulated, do not wipe off vernix, I am having a boy so we want him to be circumcised. I would like a very well educated, knowledgeable, and experienced doula not only with birthing but assisting in birthing/delivery with a black woman. I have tricare west insurance.
I'm a first time mom, age 42. I feel that the info my mother share may be outdated and the internet is saturated with contradicting information so I'm overwhelmed. I would prefer to use my insurance if that's possible. I'd like to have a natural birth but I really don't know my options. My husband is more comfortable with spanish so that would good.
This is my first baby and id like to have an unmedicated birth. I will be giving birth at the hospital and I’m worried about being pushed to accept unnecessary medical interventions.
Hi this is my first baby, located in Houston Texas. I am hoping to have an unmedicated birth. I am also looking for someone who can help my husband as well. I am really looking for an in person doula who can help me mentally and physically prepare for labor, birth and the whole nine yards.
I want to give a home birth and am considering a water birth.
I would like a doula through antipartem and childbirth .
I currently have a midwife at North Houston Birthing Center. I’m a first time mother. I need someone that can advocate for me, help me navigate my pregnancy, be there when I am giving birth. And help navigate postpartum at home.
