This is our first child, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of cost. I would like to have a natural birth, and plan to breastfeed. I would like to avoid an epidural and induction if possible, and would love resources to prepare for a natural unmedicated birth. I want to remain open minded to the possiblity that things may not go the way I want them to. I am with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and have the Blue Choice PPO if relevant.

For my birth plan I have stated I want epidural, delayed cord clamping, want immediate skin to skin, no eye goop, going to be encapsulating my placenta, no vaccines expect vitamin k (preservative free), peaceful environment with music & low lighting, just me & my husband in delivery room, no students, getting hospital lactation consultant as soon as possible to come see us in room, will be breast feeding If able to, don’t want to rush the delivery processes unless absolutely necessary. Amount a few other things: I have c section plan as well pretty much the same expect not wanting to see anything and want immediate skin to skin if possible and a few other things as well!
