I would prefer to avoid induction solely for convenience or to speed up labor and do not want to feel pressured into a cesarean birth unless it is medically necessary. I would also like time to discuss and make informed decisions regarding newborn procedures and injections, rather than having them performed immediately after birth. Most importantly, I am looking for a calm, knowledgeable, evidence-based doula who will help me feel respected, empowered, and supported throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum.

I have a prenatal birth coach. I’ve taken courses on hypnobirthing. I’ve had two appts with an OB for an early sonogram at 10 weeks and to hear the heart beat at 28 weeks. I am not interested in any additional OB appts. I intend to have an unassisted physiological freebirth.
