I currently have an OBGYN that does accept my medicaid. I had a c section with my daughter in 2022, and I really want to try for a vaginal birth. My OBGYN and I are not connecting as I would like and I did more research and feel better finding a mid wife or doula that I can connect with and listen to my wants and needs. I appreciate it! I plan on giving birth in a hospital setting. have medicaid health insurance. I believe its a cooks childrens plan but I would need to double check.

I will be giving birth at Baylor All saints in Fort Worth. Not sure about a budget yet I just want the best support. My first couple pregnancies were rough. I’m in a season of trying to enjoy it all and make sure this time around I have endless support through my process. I need help with a birth plan. I know I want to try unmedicated, I want to set the mood in my delivery room with blue lights, aroma therapy and white noise or nature sounds. I plan to deliver using the squat bar method and I do want to use a mirror to see it all. I just want to be present, safe, healthy and feel in control.

I do not know a lot about midwivery besides some initial research but would like to explore that route for our care. Midwifery services is my primary concern, but also would like to learn about doula services and lactation services to see if that’s a good option for me too. would prefer birth center or home birth (water birth) Have Aetna insurance so prefer to use that, otherwise will pay OOP/look at financing options.
