Hospital birth with epidural but wanting to labor at home as long as possible with minimal intervention

Hello providers I need help to breastfed my baby. He is not latching properly. It feels like he is biting my nipple, specially left one. And he always shows a sign of hunger after breastfed.

I'm looking to have my second child here at home on the farm, want a natural non invasive birth with support from someone who's seen a thing or 2. My Budget is no higher than $5000 as I just need someone there for the birth. I'm not one to say that you need 20 years experience but preferably someone who's been doing this for more than 5. I am 18 years old and this will be my second child and a VBAC delivery (My obgyn has cleared me for VBAC). Really just looking for somebody that will show equal concern as I and be a supportive friend. I came across your profile and wanted to reach out because I'm currently looking for a birth doula. I wanted to see if you participate in the TRICARE Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration. From my understanding, TRICARE covers up to 6 hours of antepartum and/or postpartum doula visits (which can be divided into 15-minute increments however we'd like), along with one continuous labor support visit during the birth. I also understand that, to be eligible for TRICARE coverage, doulas must be certified through one of TRICARE's approved certifying organizations (such as DONA International) and have an active National Provider Identifier (NPI) for billing. Are you certified through a TRICARE-approved organization and do you have an active NPI? If so, I'd love to learn more about your services, your availability around my October due date, what your birth support includes, and how the TRICARE billing process works. Since this is our first baby, I'm hoping to find a calm, supportive doula who has experience working with first-time moms and who works well alongside my husband, as he'll be my primary support person during labor. We're expecting our first child, a daughter, on November 6th, and we're currently at 25 weeks. We'll be delivering at Texas Health Harris Methodist Southwest in Fort Worth with Dr. Stacy Butler, so experience at that specific hospital is a plus. The main reason we want a doula is that I will be my wife's only support person in the room. We don't have family nearby and aren't planning to have anyone else at the birth, so we're looking for someone who can provide continuous support through a long labor and give me a chance to eat and rest without leaving my wife alone. Reliable backup coverage matters to us for the same reason. A few things that are important to us: My wife wants to keep her options open on pain management, including an epidural. We're looking for someone who will support whatever she decides in the moment rather than steering her toward or away from any particular kind of birth. We are formula feeding exclusively and have already made that decision, so we'd like a doula who is comfortable with that and won't push breastfeeding. We are not religious. We don't mind if a doula is personally religious, but we would prefer that faith, prayer, or scripture not be part of our birth experience. We're also interested in hands-on preparation. Childbirth education as part of a package is something we'd consider. Having birth doula, postpartum doula, as well as night services available from the same provider is a plus. We'd like to book within the next few weeks and are flexible on scheduling consultations, including evenings and weekends.

I am looking for a doula that can help prioritize my birth plan and focus on my needs during the birth, while the OB focuses on the baby. I would really like to give birth vaginally and am looking for someone who values modern medicine but can also help keep things as natural as possible if it is safe. I’m looking for someone who will advocate for me when things get crazy in the delivery room and who is willing to coach me through labor and help support my husband in supporting me.
