My goal is a low-intervention birth with freedom to move during labor, use natural comfort measures, minimal cervical checks when appropriate, delayed cord clamping, immediate skin-to-skin contact, and uninterrupted bonding time after birth. I would prefer to avoid induction solely for convenience or to speed up labor and do not want to feel pressured into a cesarean birth unless it is medically necessary. I would also like time to discuss and make informed decisions regarding newborn procedures and injections, rather than having them performed immediately after birth. Weighted feed. Cannot tell if baby is getting enough d ue to poor latch even after fronotomy. In fact I think his latch has gotten worse

She latched fine up until last night and now it takes her 10 minutes to stop fighting me and latch. Sometimes she will put the boob in her mouth, then take it out other times she will move her mouth around my boob, but never latch. I tried different positions until something takes. It’s also pretty painful to latch and extremely sore / stinging after she’s finished.
