I value informed consent and would like all procedures, interventions, and newborn care options explained before decisions are made whenever possible. My goal is a low-intervention birth with freedom to move during labor, use natural comfort measures, minimal cervical checks when appropriate, delayed cord clamping, immediate skin-to-skin contact, and uninterrupted bonding time after birth. I would prefer to avoid induction solely for convenience or to speed up labor and do not want to feel pressured into a cesarean birth unless it is medically necessary. I would also like time to discuss and make informed decisions regarding newborn procedures and injections, rather than having them performed immediately after birth. Most importantly, I am looking for a calm, knowledgeable, evidence-based doula who will help me feel respected, empowered, and supported throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum.

A provider who accepts insurance (BCBS) and can give lactation support early and ongoing. Early meaning within first couple weeks of birth, ongoing meaning up to 3 -4 months. Ideally looking for a total of 3 visits across that time frame. In home would be great, but not required.

11 week old, has had trouble latching, minor tongue tie. Seems to have a better latch, but not sure if transfer is effective. No weighted feeds since 2 weeks old. Currently exclusively pumping and latching anytime in between. However, output is low on the pump. I would like to increase supply if possible and be able to do actual nursing sessions. And of course get better output on the pump, as I will need to pump when I go back to work at 16weeks. Budget is 200-300$. Prefer in person.

I will be delivering at Baylor Scott and White Grapevine. I'm unsure of budget and am trying to figure out what my insurance may or may not cover. This is our first child, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of cost. I would like to have a natural birth, and plan to breastfeed. I would like to avoid an epidural and induction if possible, and would love resources to prepare for a natural unmedicated birth. Hi there. I am in need of quick assistance. My newborn was latching well with me until we gave him pumped breast milk from a bottle a few times.. now he will not latch to my breast. He tries, but seems to just shallow-ly latch for a few seconds and then pulls away. I've been pumping to try to keep my milk supply up and giving him pumped milk from the bottle just to make sure he is eating. I'm honestly heartbroken over it. Please any guidance would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to lose the great progress we were making on our breastfeeding journey. Thank you

This is my first pregnancy, and I’d like to explore holistic options vs traditional OB And hospital births. I do not know a lot about midwivery besides some initial research but would like to explore that route for our care. Midwifery services is my primary concern, but also would like to learn about doula services and lactation services to see if that’s a good option for me too. would prefer birth center or home birth (water birth) Have Aetna insurance so prefer to use that, otherwise will pay OOP/look at financing options.
