Location: Round Rock, TX 78665, USA

I’m currently looking for a birth doula to support me during labor and delivery. I plan to give birth at Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital, and my goal is to have an unmedicated vaginal birth. My budget is capped at $1000, and I won’t be able to exceed that. As per my insurance requirements, you must have current certification from a recognized doula certification body such as DONA International or PALS. Additionally, my insurance requests specific details including CPT/diagnosis codes, your NPI, and TIN. If you meet these criteria and the budget aligns, I’d love to schedule an in-person meeting at my home in Round Rock.

I am still undecided on birthing at home or at a hospital, although I am leaning towards hospital. I would like a midwife that takes a very natural route through pregnancy and during birth, I don’t know much about pricing of midwife’s but I do have blue cross blue shield insurance. I am very early into this pregnancy so I don’t have much of a plan other than doing it completely natural and delayed cord clamping :)

Home birth. Is what I still really want to do. But am open to a birthing center. I am 28weeks pregnant and am needing to look for a new midwife because I no longer trust the place I had been going to. I’m looking for a reasonable price for being in third trimester. Especially after putting so much money into this other place I had been going. I’d love to find someone who offers better than “standard care” Doesn’t let emotions get in the way of my concerns. Can provide better examples and evidence to back up their recommendations in my pregnancy. I think I would be a lot more comfortable being seen by a CNM vs. CPM if possible so my health is paid attention to closer. The problem I ran into with my last place was they didn’t educate me enough , ask enough questions. Provide enough guidance through the progression of pregnancy. I felt like I had to come prepared to get all the information I could. And as a new mom I do not know enough. Now I’m sick with anemia. And have a high wbc count. But because I was overly concerned about it. And tried to once again advocate for myself to get the best care I could. They think it’s best I go somewhere else. But I don’t want to see an OB. I’m stressed having to find a new place at this stage of pregnancy. Would appreciate any help you could give me please. Thank you so much.
