I plan to give birth at home. I do live in an apartment. This is my first. My estimate is $2,500-$5,000. I plan on having a natural birth.
I am looking to have a home birth, but this would be my first one and I have a history of high blood pressure, so we may need to at least discuss the possibility of a hospital birth. My budget is around $6,000. I like to spend most of my labor in my bathtub. For this birth I want to have a midwife with me to coach me through to the end of labor so I do not have to leave the comfort of my own home. I want to delay cutting the umbilical cord as well.
OB/GYN and hospital that accept CHAMPVA. Also interested in therapist.
First child Birthing from home Prebirth help Postpartum help
I’m 11 weeks pregnant and I’m 43 years old and this is my second pregnancy. I had a missed miscarriage in April of this year. I live in Cedar Park and am looking for a midwife relatively close by. I had an ultrasound at 7+3 with everything looking good. I am not sure if I want to give birth at home or in a hospital yet.
I would like to have a low intervention birth. As this is my first child I would like to have birth either in hospital or borthing center.
10 weeks with my 3rd baby, looking for a midwife to take over prenatal care. I would love a midwife who can deliver at a hospital, but I’m also open to birthing centers. My goal is another natural birth with little intervention. I also have Cigna insurance, so the hospital of delivery or birthing centers would need to accept that insurance. If no insurance accepted, I’d love to know the general out of pocket cost
I want to see if i can get a ultrasound. I am 5 months pregnant and haven’t felt my baby move in the last 3 days. Is that normal or not?

Planning on hospital birth, 6 weeks along don’t know birth plan
Hi! I’m reaching out because my husband and I are hoping to have a home birth and are looking for a midwife who serves the Temple/Belton area. We’re still early in the process, and my due date would probably be in late May. This would be my first live birth, I had an ectopic pregnancy in Dec 2025. I have pre-existing Type 1 diabetes, which is well controlled with an A1C of 5.3, and I use an insulin pump and CGM. I’m hoping to find a midwife who is comfortable taking on a Type 1 diabetic client for a planned home birth.
I’m going to be honest I’m not really sure… All I know is I’ve been mentally and physically preparing my body for a natural birth; this is my first and I’m pretty young. I plan to give birth in my home, with hopefully a birthing tub which I’m trying to save for. I want a pretty natural birth, maybe some oils, soft music, yknow the basic calming vibe. Dim lights and allowing my body to do what nature does best. If no complications and baby arrives healthy, I wish for a lotus birth, let the baby get everything it needs from the placenta and I wish to breastfeed and do some skin to skin. And I wish to delay the first baby’s bath for when I feel ready. I honesty just want someone to trust in me trusting in myself because I’ve been through quite a bit in my short life so far and this experience I want to be beautiful and fulfilling … Price range I can do 1200-1800… if more I can do but maybe a payment plan.
First baby, planning on having baby at BSW medical center in Marble Falls Texas. I’m looking for a doula or midwife.
