Position: Night Nanny for Newborn Care Responsibilities: 1. Feeding: • Administer nighttime feedings, whether through bottle-feeding or assisting with breastfeeding. • If breastfeeding, bring the baby to the mother for nursing sessions and handle post-feeding tasks such as burping and settling the baby back to sleep.  2. Diapering and Hygiene: • Change diapers as needed throughout the night to ensure the baby’s comfort and hygiene. • Maintain cleanliness by washing and sterilizing bottles and breast pump parts used during the night.  3. Comforting and Soothing: • Soothe and comfort the baby back to sleep when they wake, using techniques such as gentle rocking, swaddling, or singing lullabies. • Monitor the baby’s sleep patterns and behavior, addressing any signs of discomfort or distress promptly.  4. Sleep Training Support: • Assist in establishing healthy sleep routines by implementing bedtime rituals that promote restful sleep. • Provide guidance on sleep training methods, if desired, to help the baby develop consistent sleep patterns.  5. Light Household Tasks: • Perform light housekeeping duties related to the baby’s care, such as organizing the nursery, baby’s laundry, preparing bottles for the next day, and ensuring the baby’s environment is clean and safe.  6. Parental Support: • Offer support and education to parents on newborn care practices, including feeding techniques, sleep strategies, and general infant care. • Provide a listening ear and practical advice to foster a nurturing and supportive environment for the family.  Qualifications: • Experience in newborn care, with references available upon request. • Training or certification in infant CPR and first aid. • Knowledge of infant sleep patterns and sleep training methodologies. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents.

I’m an expectant mother ISO a night nanny to help sleep train our current 2 year old who unfortunately doesn’t sleep through the night and to also help care for our newborn slated to arrive June 12.
