I will be delivering at Baylor Scott and White Grapevine. I'm unsure of budget and am trying to figure out what my insurance may or may not cover. This is our first child, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of cost. I would like to have a natural birth, and plan to breastfeed. I would like to avoid an epidural and induction if possible, and would love resources to prepare for a natural unmedicated birth. I want to remain open minded to the possiblity that things may not go the way I want them to. I am with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and have the Blue Choice PPO if relevant.

My baby is 7weeks old. I want to consult about her latch, her feeding, is she getting enough milk, am i producing enough, will I be able to breastfeed long term ie. A year at least, how do I keep my supply good.

Light baby-related duties such as washing/sterilizing bottles and pump parts, baby laundry, and keeping the baby’s area organized would be helpful. Lactation consultant to help with milk supply production and latching

A provider who accepts insurance (BCBS) and can give lactation support early and ongoing. Early meaning within first couple weeks of birth, ongoing meaning up to 3 -4 months. Ideally looking for a total of 3 visits across that time frame. In home would be great, but not required.

I’m struggling with breastfeeding and feel like my milk supply is low. I currently both breastfeed and pump, but I also supplement with formula and have been using more formula than breast milk. I don’t feel like I have a consistent pumping routine yet, and pumping every 3 hours hasn’t been realistic for me. Hi there. I am in need of quick assistance. My newborn was latching well with me until we gave him pumped breast milk from a bottle a few times.. now he will not latch to my breast. He tries, but seems to just shallow-ly latch for a few seconds and then pulls away. I've been pumping to try to keep my milk supply up and giving him pumped milk from the bottle just to make sure he is eating. I'm honestly heartbroken over it. Please any guidance would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to lose the great progress we were making on our breastfeeding journey. Thank you
