First baby , in celina texas looking for new born doula
This is my first pregnancy, and I’d like to explore holistic options vs traditional OB And hospital births. I do not know a lot about midwivery besides some initial research but would like to explore that route for our care. Midwifery services is my primary concern, but also would like to learn about doula services and lactation services to see if that’s a good option for me too. would prefer birth center or home birth (water birth) Have Aetna insurance so prefer to use that, otherwise will pay OOP/look at financing options.
plan to give birth at texas health presby in plano. Estimated budget is under $1300. I will be doing c section so birth plan is really scheduling at the hospital. i want someone that has many years of experience. need someone to educate and prepare us on when the baby comes, postpartum care, and lactation.
My little one has been having trouble staying latched, and is really fussy when she does get latched. I’ve also been having trouble with pumping. Would prefer in person help
6 week old exclusively bottle feeding, concerns about tongue tie, shallow latch and clicking sound when feeding, feeds take long time through bottle.
Planning a hospital birth Budget 1,000-3,99 Because this is an IVF pregnancy, I am looking for a doula who understands the emotional significance of this journey and will provide compassionate, continuous support. I value informed consent and would like all procedures, interventions, and newborn care options explained before decisions are made whenever possible. My goal is a low-intervention birth with freedom to move during labor, use natural comfort measures, minimal cervical checks when appropriate, delayed cord clamping, immediate skin-to-skin contact, and uninterrupted bonding time after birth. I would prefer to avoid induction solely for convenience or to speed up labor and do not want to feel pressured into a cesarean birth unless it is medically necessary. I would also like time to discuss and make informed decisions regarding newborn procedures and injections, rather than having them performed immediately after birth. Most importantly, I am looking for a calm, knowledgeable, evidence-based doula who will help me feel respected, empowered, and supported throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum.
* Where do you plan to give birth? Hospital. * Estimated budget: I’m looking for a multi-week postpartum package and am flexible about the number of hours/days per week depending on the package and rate. * Describe your birth plan: Planning a hospital delivery. My main requirement is postpartum support after coming home, rather than labor/birth support. * Requirements for the provider: Prefer an Indian postpartum doula, if available, or someone familiar with Indian postpartum traditions and food. I would prefer someone experienced with newborns and first-time mothers. Postpartum doula certification/newborn-care training and infant CPR/first-aid knowledge are preferred. An Indian language is a plus but not mandatory. * Details about care recipients: First-time mother and newborn baby. I’m looking for someone who can help me recover after delivery while teaching/guiding me with newborn care, diapering, soothing, bathing, safe sleep, and establishing a routine. I would also like breastfeeding/feeding support and guidance, as needed. * Additional duties: Primarily mother and newborn care. Light baby-related duties such as washing/sterilizing bottles and pump parts, baby laundry, and keeping the baby’s area organized would be helpful. Light cooking/meal preparation, especially Indian postpartum meals, would be a big plus. I’m not looking for heavy house cleaning.
A provider who accepts insurance (BCBS) and can give lactation support early and ongoing. Early meaning within first couple weeks of birth, ongoing meaning up to 3 -4 months. Ideally looking for a total of 3 visits across that time frame. In home would be great, but not required.
I need a certified lactation consultant who cam help me learn breastfeeding to have a positive experience once baby is here and also someone who provides after birth consultations

Two week old with shallow latch and painful feeds. I recently started exclusively pumping to allow my nipples to heal from the bleeding and cracking. In desperate need of help, I don’t want to put my baby on formula. In person or remote at my home
Looking for an experienced Midwife and Doula team to support a peaceful home birth. I am seeking dedicated in-person care, continuous labor support, and guidance through prenatal and postpartum stages. Looking for compassionate providers who can align with our birth plan and discuss available package options and budget.
Clogged duct for a couple days, having issues getting it out with pump or latching baby. Low budget, video call preferred
Brest feeding challanges, difficulty in latch and sustain
I think I may have an oversupply or milk coming too fast. I’m concerned with my baby’s gas/reflux situation. He seems uncomfortable after feeds and sometimes during. He seems to still be gaining weight but in the last few days he has spit up with almost every feed. The doctor prescribed reflux medication but I’d like to get to the root cause.
I will be delivering at Baylor Scott and White Grapevine. I'm unsure of budget and am trying to figure out what my insurance may or may not cover. This is our first child, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of cost. I would like to have a natural birth, and plan to breastfeed. I would like to avoid an epidural and induction if possible, and would love resources to prepare for a natural unmedicated birth. I want to remain open minded to the possiblity that things may not go the way I want them to. I am with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and have the Blue Choice PPO if relevant.
I need a midwide that will work with my insurance and is available for vba3c. I can not pay out of pocket. I need someone to at the very least evaluate me and give me a honest answer. This has been a up hill battle since I got pregnant. Can anyone at all help?
I plan on having a home birth. I’m not sure on budget because I don’t know the average cost of a midwife. I would like someone with at least 3-4 years experience.
First child, i plan on birthing at the hospital and need support in having an unmediated birth. I would like the provider to accept HSA or United or work with the VA
