Birth doula, postpartum check-in, lactation support, childbirth education/parenting classes -hospital -$1200 or less if possible -experience, unsure on birth plan (first baby)
I just found out I’m pregnant. So not exactly sure where to start. I would love to have a home water birth. Just looking at all my options right now
expecting twins. need overnight care a few times a week for several month. will be using moms on call scehdule
I would like someone to be there during the birth that would be able to act as the communicator between me and the hospital staff. I would prefer to have an unmedicated vaginal birth if possible and do not want to get induced or anything that would induce labor before my body is ready.
Hospital and we would need doula for initial support during the child birth
Trying to get information on birth and postnatal dula
Hospital $1,000 We are planning a hospital birth with the option of an epidural. We would like continuous emotional and physical support throughout labor, help with positioning and comfort measures before and after pain management, assistance communicating with our care team, and support with immediate postpartum bonding and breastfeeding. Certification: Required (DONA, CAPPA, Childbirth International, DTI, or another nationally recognized certifying organization accepted by GEHA) Experience: At least 2–3 years of birth doula experience or support for 25+ births Second language: No preference
I will deliver in a hospital. I have delivered 5 babies vaginally with an induction and epidural. I have not gone into labor naturally. I am concerned that another epidural would present health risks (experiencing possible nerve damage currently). I need someone that can coach me in labor and motivate me prior to labor. I have issues dialating but when dialated labor goes very, very quickly. I am unsure of the average costs of a doula, so do not have a budget yet. We have excellent conventional insurance, but will be paying all the hospital pricing, so we cannot spend a ton extra on top of that.
