I’m looking for help with breastfeeding and getting my baby to latch and stay latched. My baby was born premature at 35 weeks and we’ve mostly been bottle-feeding pumped breast milk and some formula. He will sometimes latch but often pulls off, gets frustrated, or refuses the breast and wants the bottle instead. I’m exhausted from pumping and really want to transition toward breastfeeding directly from the breast more often, while making sure he is getting enough milk. I need someone who can work with us in person on positioning, latch, milk transfer, and helping him prefer and successfully breastfeed from the breast. I’m feeling very overwhelmed and stressed about feeding and would really appreciate hands-on support and reassurance. And someone who accepts insurance.
I plan to have an unmediated birth at a Tricare approved off post hospital and require an approved Certified Labor Doula by Tricare. I need a doula that has submitted paperwork to be able to work with Tricare and is familiar with inputting the patient codes for tricare payment.
My baby is having issues latching and when she does it’s pretty painful, I’ve been pumping and feeding with a bottle but still trying to get her to latch before each bottle feeding to help my supply.
I plan to give birth at home, as naturally as possible. Our budget is around $1,000, but we are willing to pay more depending on the services. My birth plan is simply to have our baby at home and go from there. It's not a strict plan, and I'm open to changes that mean me and the baby are safe and healthy. No requirements needed, I'm happy to have someone who is new. I'm new to this, and we can learn together! Id love help with sleep training, lactation, postpartum.
Doula during delivery in hospital and lactation help then help at home postpartum with baby duties/chores. $4000
