I love supporting first time moms and young moms on their journey so they are set up for success in their future births. My support is about educated, informed, mother-first care. We provide all you need to comfortably bring your baby into the world. The birth center midwives provide all of your prenatal care appointments, help you during labor and birth, and continue care for six weeks for you and baby. When you come to the birth center in labor, the deep soaking tubs help you relax. You can also choose to labor on one of the birthing stools, in a yoga sling, or on one of our exercise balls. Each birth suite has color changing lights, smart tvs, smart speakers, and oil diffusers to create a calm birth environment.

Certified Holistic Health and Womb Wellness Practitioner, Herbalist, Doula, and Nutritionist. I found my calling in birth work at the young age of 16, where I was present at at a family members birth, and never looked back! After studying Biology at Temple University and devoting a portion of my life to modern medicine, I found a passion in Ethnobotany, which led to applying a more holistic approach to women’s health- -hyper focused on women’s reproductive health. I aid women in womb wellness through overall health and herbal healing by way of yoni steaming, abdominal chirapsia, and nutrition counseling. My doula duties are universally geared toward family-directed, physiologic childbirth, antenatal and postpartum care, newborn care, herbal remedies, reproductive care(pre-conception to postpartum) and placenta medicine. 

As a mother myself, I'm passionate about childbirth, and just love spending time with babies!  I feel it is a true honor to be invited into a birth space as it is so intimate and sacred. After experiencing womb complications of my own including PCOS, I turned to contraception for help only to find out later that it caused my womb issues to worsen. Eager to heal my womb, I switched over to a holistic lifestyle, changing my diet and studying herbalism. I reversed my womb issues and became passionate to help other women take back their power and heal their wombs. I am now a certified doula assisting women in every stage on their journey to motherhood including fertility, conception, pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I am so grateful that my experience has led me here. I am also a licensed massage therapist specializing in prenatal massage.

My name is Sophie Perkins and I grew up in Kerrville, TX. I have been practicing as a doula since 2020, and I have fallen in love with this work. I have no children of my own, but my wonderful girlfriend and I have plans to expand our family. While I hope to be able to carry a child, we are very excited about the prospect of adopting or fostering children! My hobbies include spending time with my partner and pets, renovating our home, and reading. In 2016, a friend of mine got pregnant and hired a doula. Hearing her birth story was such a privilege and an eye opening experience! As the months passed, she shared with me honestly what it was like being a new mom–the sleep deprivation, confusion, visceral joy and love of having a child. She is passionate about guiding families through the intricacies of parenthood, offering her expertise to ensure they receive the support they need during this transformative time. In her role as a Newborn Care Specialist, Asia provides essential care for newborns, including sleep conditioning, bathing, feeding, and bottle cleaning, helping families to rest and adjust to their new routines. She is dedicated to adapting her care to meet the unique needs of each family, honoring their preferences and circumstances. Outside of her professional life, Asia is a mother of five and has enriched her caregiving approach with 15 years of homemaking.
