Hello ! My name is Megan Sanlin! Mom of 2 , military spouse , doula and birth photographer! I currently serve San Antonio and surrounding cities. Having me as your birth photographer - I am very passionate about capturing the raw emotion of labor and delivery and as a mama of two , believe it is one of the most important moments a family experiences! My Moto "Cameras are really just time machines" holds so much importance and truth. Having me as your Doula- When I get the honor to be in your Birth space I strive to keep it sacred by not interfering with the organic events at hand. My goal is not to replace your support team but to guide you through this journey. We start with rental classes where we make a birth plan tailored to your family. I will then guide you through the ways you can achieve it! I believe every Woman's body is created by God to birth the baby it holds , and what a magnificent creation! My goal is to empower you before , during and after labor. After baby I will come by your home for a postpartum visit ! I hold a certification in lactation and love helping moms who choose to breastfeed. It takes a village, and I would be honored to be apart of yours ! Let's talk about birth baby!

Are payments available?

Yes! Gifted Sight Photography offers financing , your way! What suits you best? weekly? Monthly? We can tailor it to your family however you wish!

What if you don't make my birth?

We've never missed a birth , that's not to say it doesn't happen! We do everything I'm our power to make it happen and have years of experience letting us know the best times to arrive for your birth. Megan , the owner of GSP has taken the steps of hiring a backup birth photographer for parental peace of mind . In extreme cases where Megan Is unavailable the backup birth photographer on call will fill in. However , we are available day and night one on call and ready to go!

Won't it be distracting having a photographer in the room?

Don't be seen . Don't be heard, just deliver! We are ninjas in the birth space. Your job is to bring baby into this world. Once you notify us you're in labor we do the rest. No communication will be held in the birth room unless initiated by the birth parents. No posing is ever expected of you either. We're here to capture the raw moment , never to interrupt it.

What about the Dr?

All doctors we've encountered have welcomed photography in the birth space! However we always suggest checking with yours at a prenatal appointment or by phone call first. We also verify with your hospital before payment is in place.
