I am married, with two children, both of whom I breastfed for a full year. My daughter, now an adult, has significant special needs. When I was breastfeeding her, I needed extra care and professional support to reach my goals. Without that guidance, I’m not sure I would have been able to continue providing her with human milk. This experience drives my passion to ensure others have access to the same level of care and support.

I have been a registered nurse specializing in perinatal care since 1990. In 2015, I became an IBCLC and began working full-time as an inpatient lactation consultant. In 2019, I expanded my skills by studying craniosacral therapy under Carol Gray. Over time, I integrated craniosacral therapy and lactation consulting at the Recovery Lounge while interning with Amanda Glenn, gradually preparing for retirement from my hospital position. In May 2024, I retired and shifted my focus to the Recovery Lounge and Spa, where I now combine lactation consulting with infant craniosacral therapy, as the two practices complement each other to foster a more joyful breastfeeding experience.
