I am due in September and planning to give birth in a hospital (UC Health - Anschutz). I have not decided on a birth plan yet. My insurance plan is with Aetna PPO (through my work). I would ideally like a doula that is African American (as I am) but I am open to other backgrounds as well.

Needing help with breastfeeding, baby latching on and pumping
Need help getting baby to latch, so I can nurse him.
lactation consultant for prenatal and postpartum consults in-person, in-home. accepts BCBS insurance.
2 week old baby not transferring enough milk while BFing. I am having to triple feed so I’d really like to see what’s going on to get his transfer from me up to a full feeding for him. He is also just soooo sleepy at the breast and it’s hard to get him to actively suck, which is probably a contributor.
I plan to give birth either at home or in a birthing center, with a focus on a holistic, low-intervention approach while prioritizing the safety and well-being of both myself and my baby. While I do not have a finalized birth plan at this time, I am seeking a certified midwife with at least five years of experience. I would also like access to comprehensive prenatal education, labor and birth support, postpartum guidance, and lactation assistance.
Hello, I am 35 and this is our first baby and we’re looking for a doula and lactation consultant to help us along the way. We plan to give birth at the hospital, no set birth plan but know I so want epidurals, am interested in the controlled pushing with slow delivery and delayed cord cutting. Certfications and years of experience needed. Sleep training a plus as well. Not sure on budget as this is all new to us.

We plan to give birth at the hospital, but I'd like to labor as long as possible at home. I'm looking to have a low-intervention water birth. immediate skin to skin after birth (mom + Dad), delayed cord clamping (waiting until cord is white & no longer pulsating), no baby bath, first feed, minimal cervical checks, mobile baby monitoring so I can walk around, no pitocin or epidural, IV hep-lock/saline-lock, & no hep b vaccine. Pregnant with my first, 25 years old, would like breastfeeding support. as well
