This is my first baby and unplanned, we are planning to birth at Littleton Adventist hospital. I reside in Lakewood and we are hoping for someone to help guide us through the process of pregnancy and how to plan for birth and after birth and an additional support person there for birth to help execute my hopes for a birth plan even when things go a different way. I love a holistic approach but have some health complications so we chose a MD rather than a midwife so hoping the doula is able to help us find a balance between the two wishes. The care is for me and baby but also dad will be there and is eager to learn so would love him to be included. We have both united healthcare and medicaid and really just hoping to use those two insurances to cover majority of our cost.

I am still working on my birth plan this is my first pregnancy so everything is super new to me, I know I want an unmedicated birth that’s about all I know as of right now. I would like someone with years of experience, Christian, I want someone to be there to help be my voice. I dont really need additional duties, I just want someone to be by my side and listen to me. I’m super nervous and it’s kinda scary to me. I am excited as well just trying to deal with anxiousness.

I plan on giving birth at UCHealth’s University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO. I am looking to obtain doula services through my health insurance (Anthem BCBS). I am still working on my birth plan but would like to find a doula that can assist with birth and postpartum. I had planned to do all this myself but as I’m getting closer to my due date (11/29/26), I’m realizing I would appreciate having a knowledgeable woman’s support - this will be my first baby!

Hello, My baby is 3 weeks old and we have been exclusively breast feeding, however she has a shallow latch and isn't getting an adequate amount during her feeds. I’m super early in this search but I want time to get connected to the right doula and have time for them to get to know me and my husband as well as us to get to know them. Question: Where do you plan to give birth (home/hospital)? Answer: hospital Question: Provide your estimated budget Answer: I don’t really have a budget because I’m not sure what options are out there as I’m just beginning my searches so I don’t want to limit or exclude Question: Describe your birth plan Answer: right now this isn’t super built out, like mentioned I’m pretty early in this search but things I do know, vaginal birth unless a complication or emergency drives a c section, epidural, goal is short labor Question: Describe your requirements for the provider (certification, number of years experience, second language spoken) Answer: someone solid who knows their stuff. No preference on second languages Question: Details about care recipients (Age, special needs, feeding, etc.) Answer: supporting through birth Question: Include any additional duties (Sleep training, cleaning, cooking, laundry etc.) Answer: right now my main focus would be birthing support and all that surrounds support during birth. Any additional duties may change along the way but aren’t pressing right now.

Birth doula- hospital Postpartum Sleep training Skyridge

I am planning on giving birth at Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont. I am hoping to find a doula that is completely covered by Medicaid. I am still working on my birth plan but I know I don't want to labor on my back. It's been 13 years since my last child and my partners first. I struggled with breast feeding my first child and will need lactation support so I can hopefully follow through with breast feeding this child.
