Hi, I’m Mitzi — a Denver-based postpartum doula and wellness practitioner providing gentle, holistic daytime care rooted in tradition, compassion, and practical support. As a mother watching my own two sons grow, I know how fast and precious the early days are, and how much care parents need during this transformation. I specialize in traditional Mexican postpartum practices designed to restore warmth, energy, and strength after birth. My goal is to honor your physical healing, create a peaceful home environment, and help you feel confident throughout the fourth trimester. I take an intuitive, proactive approach so you never have to manage me or hand over a to-do list. I step in where support is needed most—whether that’s tending to your baby so you can get uninterrupted rest, preparing a nourishing meal, or tidying up. Whether you need hands-on infant care, light household support, or traditional recovery rituals, I am here to ensure your entire family feels grounded, supported, and nurtured. Outside of supporting families, you’ll usually find me tending to my garden or reconnecting with my Hispanic roots, which deeply shapes how I care for others.

Mitzi was a great support during my postpartum period. She provided helpful advice, guided me through recovery, and made me feel comfortable asking questions. The rebozo massages and cupping therapy she did were relaxing and really helped my body recover. She was professional, attentive, and caring, and it was clear how much she genuinely cares for both mother and baby. My little one loved her too, she handled him with such gentleness and warmth. I would definitely recommend Mitzi to any new mother looking for supportive, thoughtful, and skilled postpartum care.

Hello! I am a DONA International certified postpartum doula who has lived in Colorado since 2010. I hold a Bachelors of Science in Health Education, as well as a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have extensive experience supporting, educating, and nurturing families in different childcare capacities for the last 16 years. I have a penchant for postpartum and newborn care and am passionate about supporting families as they transition into parenthood being it with their firstborn or fourth! I always strive to meet families' needs with ease, flexibility, and warmth. On top of newborn and postpartum support I also can help as a Sibling Doula with older sibling childcare while parents welcome their newest additions to their family. My own experiences with pregnancy, birth, pregnancy loss and motherhood are what inspired me to embark on the journey of supporting others navigating their perinatal experience. I have trained with and am a member of The Institute of Birth, Breath and Death and can provide trauma informed bereavement and loss support. Holding space for others who are walking the path of grief during the most sensitive times is a skill that I hold dear to my heart. For my own wellness I love doing yoga, camping in our popup with my family, escaping to the beach, baking, and you can always find me curled up in a good book. I look forward to learning more about your family's needs!

Alyssa is absolutely amazing! Her kindness and warmth immediately put me at ease, and her expertise with babies made me feel so secure and comfortable, whether during daytime hours or overnight shifts. Beyond being incredibly reliable in general, she has a remarkable ability to "take charge" the moment she walks through the door, and instinctively jumps in to handle things without me needing to ask. On top of all that, she even helped with meal prep and cooking, and the results were always so delicious--having homemade meals during a time when I was physically unable to cook was such a gift. Her support just exceeded my expectations and hopes in every way possible. All in all, I can’t recommend Alyssa highly enough. She was an absolute lifesaver during a crucial time, and helped make it both less stressful and more joyful!

Most doulas provide support. I provide something more. I offer a specialist-level guide for the most significant transition of your life. I bring together birth expertise, nervous system-informed coaching, and deep newborn and postpartum knowledge to support women who want to feel genuinely prepared, not just accompanied. My clients don't want a hand to hold... they want someone who can think ahead of their care team, help them navigate decisions with confidence, and be a steady, knowledgeable presence from pregnancy through the fourth trimester. Based in Littleton, I serve the greater Denver metro area with comprehensive birth and postpartum support — and a philosophy rooted in the whole you: your body, your mind, and your specific vision for this season of life. If you're the kind of person who invests in your health and does the work, we're probably a great fit.

I found Beth in the last few weeks of the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy with my 3rd daughter, and she changed everything for me! She made me feel safe and supported from the moment we spoke over the phone! She was knowledgeable and professional, but she also made me feel like we were lifelong friends! When it came time for my delivery, Beth was incredible! She helped keep me focused and as calm as possible during contractions and she held the hospital staff accountable to my birth plan wishes. She also created us a beautiful gift after the birth of our little girl, she made us a digital birth story, it was such a touching recount of the entire evening! I would recommend her to anyone having a baby! She is the most amazing doula!

Hi! Im Chrystal. Thank you for being here! I’m a DONA-certified Birth and Postpartum doula dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to families throughout their birthing journey. Based in Littleton, I share my home with my husband and our beloved Springer Spaniel, Fisher. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Regis University and previously worked as a nurse aide and a midwife’s assistant, experiences that shaped my deep respect for both clinical care and the natural wisdom of birth. I began working as a doula in 2022, earned my certification in 2023, and have since had the honor of supporting more than 100 families. I have attended births of all varieties including home births, VBACs, cesarean, unmedicated, assisted, and more. Outside of birth work, I love spending time outdoors; identifying plants, hiking, camping, or simply walking with Fisher. I love the warmth from the sun and the sound of birds, they give me life! You’ll often find me enjoying a cup of tea with a good book, exploring creative outlets, or spending an afternoon wandering through Barnes&Noble or World Market. My guilty pleasure is rewatching media I’ve already seen and love, or rereading old books that I can’t forget. I like to think of my role as a consultant, advocate, and fairy godmother all in one. I support you in achieving your dream birth by offering continuous physical and emotional care, helping you maintain informed consent, and empowering your instincts while holding space for this incredible experience. I also work closely with your partner, giving them the confidence and tools to provide meaningful emotional and physical comfort. I value organization, timely communication, and nonjudgmental care. My goal for my clients is a labor that feels peaceful, informed, and joyful. In the labor room, my focus is always on my client’s comfort and their overall goals for birth. I prioritize finding the balance between letting labor unfold naturally and offering suggestions when they can truly make a positive difference. I often joke that just because I know Spinning Babies doesn’t mean I’m going to “flip you like a pancake”—those tools are there when they’re needed, not as a default. To me, your intuition is VIP, and medicine is a powerful tool we can use when it supports your safety and your vision. Past clients have mentioned my calm, reassuring presence and my soothing voice helping to ground them in intense moments. When helping families get acclimated at home in the first few weeks, my focus is on ensuring that my clients get off on the right foot. I prioritize guiding both parents and baby through the new life they are adjusting to, helping build structure and workflows that work for each individual family. My top two favorite parts of attending births are feeling like I have helped, and the look on your face when you realize; “I DID IT!” Thanks again for being here and congratulations!

Upon our first meeting with Chrystal she instantly entered our hearts. You can truly feel her care and compassion for this field. Chrystal was with us before the baby, during the delivery, and has continued to stay in contact. She stayed flexible and attentive during the birthing process. We felt very supported the whole way. We would could not recommend anyone more than Chrystal, and would love for her to be a part of our next birth story!

Alyssa Lake

Congratulations! My name is Alyssa. I've been a doula since 2013. I became a doula shortly after the birth of my first born when I experienced a tremendous lack of support. I felt alone and isolated and overwhelmed with the contradicting information online. After connecting with other moms within the community, I learned that I wasn't an outlier and this experience was far too common. I studied with Penny Lyon and Ann Pollack in 2013 and became certified with DONA shortly after. Later in 2013, I began working at a local birth center as a midwife assistant to further my medical training. It reaffirmed that I was meant to be a doula serving families within my community. As a certified yoga instructor since 2006, I started integrating Prenatal yoga and doula work. It truly felt like the most comprehensive way to support families by bringing them affective and age old tools to cope with labor pains. Since 2013, I've proudly served over 1000 families. I'm the co-founder of In Joy Birth, a doula training company/agency located in Orlando, Florida. In 2023, I moved my family to the greater Denver area to be close to the mountains where I am currently serving families. I'm passionate about continuing education and am currently working on finishing my Pediatric Sleep Consulting certification. I'm also BLS/CPR certified, and Carrot approved. I work with only one family at a time so that I can provide individualized care to each one of my families.

Alyssa is not only an incredible doula, but also one of the most genuine people I have had the pleasure of knowing. With her vast knowledge of pregnancy and childbirth, she helped me to truly figure out what I wanted and needed. Without her I can't imagine having the incredible birth experience I had! Alyssa's postpartum care is what really sets her apart. She guided me through breastfeeding challenges, fed me nutritious food, and helped around the house to make sure I could rest and focus on my transition to motherhood. It was such an incredible gift to be able to soak in those first days with such peace and support. I am forever grateful for her, and can't recommend her enough!

Eloise was worth her weight in gold during a difficult birth that didn't go to plan. My hope was to labor at home as long as possible and to have an unmedicated water birth. However, I unfortunately developed preeclampsia with severe features, which necessitated an emergency induction at 37 weeks and being confined to the bed on a magnesium drip for the duration of the multi-day labor. I called in Eloise for support during a very low point in my labor, when my epidural had failed and dilation had not progressed for hours. Eloise immediately created a peaceful environment with candles, essential oils, and gentle music, and employed massage, heat therapy, and a TENS unit to promote relaxation. In the first three hours after Eloise's arrival, my dilation suddenly advanced from five to over nine centimeters, a fact which I absolutely attribute to the deep sense of safety she provided. When it came time to deliver my son, I was struggling with feeling weak and depleted after a long, overwhelming labor. Eloise calmly encouraged me through each and every contraction during three hours of pushing. I truly believe that there's no way I would have been able to fulfill my goal of having a vaginal birth if not for her steady presence and her guidance on how to make my pushing more effective. In the weeks following the birth, I ended up suffering from a painful and persistent uterine infection. I had not purchased a postpartum package from Eloise, but she continued to check in with me nonetheless, a testament to the genuine care she has for her clients. Having Eloise as my doula was an extraordinary silver lining of a challenging birth experience. My husband and I are so grateful for Eloise and would unreservedly recommend her to anyone.

Courtney Moore Rodriguez

My name is Courtney Moore Rodriguez. I am a certified lactation educator (CLE), certified postpartum doula (CPD), and certified infant and family sleep specialist (IFSS). I am here to support your family in person (within the Denver metro area) and/or virtually…from the time you find out you’re expecting, through your baby’s first birthday. In those first few weeks and months, it can be hard to ask for help. I am a strong believer in helping families to help themselves (with a good amount of time for rest and self care thrown in too). Rather than taking care of your baby for you, I make sure that you have the skills, knowledge, and rest to do it on your own. I assist families in a non-judgmental fashion and always strive to meet you where you are. I am up to date on the latest research regarding infant feeding, sleep, and newborn care, and can give you non-biased information so that you can make informed choices that work for your family.

Courtney is so wonderful!! We worked with her as a postpartum doula as first time parents. Before baby came, thought we’d work with her for a few weeks…..nine months later I still rely on Courtney as an extremely trusted resource and for support when we need it. She shaped our parenting experience in those first few weeks and months so much for the better that I have so much gratitude for her patience, knowledge, emotional support and calming presence. Courtney provided amazing, loving care to our baby and taught my husband and I really everything at the beginning as we had no experience with babies! It was such peace of mind knowing I could ask Courtney anything and not rely on the rabbit hole of google or social media. She helped us through so many challenges during such an emotional time and helped with all kinds of things to make our lives easier. Months later we still turned to Courtney for help on baby sleep, eating and also for my breastfeeding journey. I would never have even started my breastfeeding journey, never mind made it to ten months, without her. I am beyond grateful we found Courtney to work with and recommend anyone to work with her!
