I live in the Denver Metro area and serve families there through home, birth center, and hospital births. I cannot say enough good things about Kali. She came into our family like a shining light in a really dark time. Our daughter was 5 weeks early and spent time in the NICU and was on oxygen for 11 weeks, she had reflux and some other issues. I was exhausted and overwhelmed. When I first talked to Kali I burst out crying, and she was so calm and made me feel so comfortable. I loved having her in our home, and trusted that at night I could finally get some rest becasue I knew she was going to take amazing care of my baby. She checked in on me and was always asking how I was doing. She referred tons of services to us, including a physical therapist for our daughter's flat head. If she hadn't made the referral, we wouldn't have been able to intervene as early as we did. Kali and her team of doula friends saved us. Kali still keeps in touch with us, and has been such an amazing source of information and help. I'm crying writing this becasue she is such a wonderful person, cool, fun, and kind, and she helped me and my family so much, it was the best thing in a really hard time. I would recommend her 1000000% and the families that she helps are so lucky to work with her. :)

My husband and I worked with Jamie in the fall of 2021, when our first son was born. We chose a 'virtual' package, with options for video calls, phone calls, and texting. This service was exactly what we needed, and I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Jamie in this review. Her constant advocacy for the health and happiness of our son (and therefore his parents!) was incredible, including acknowledgment, understanding, listening, asking questions, and providing thoughtful recommendations (solutions to try) or references (for example to other local providers) for us to use. She even connected us to other parents selling used baby gear to purchase products to try. Knowing she had my back was such a crucial part of our first few months, and now I tell everyone if there's one thing you do for yourself and your baby in the birthing process- it's to hire a postpartum doula. Everyone should be so lucky to have Jamie have their back, available for that phone call or text when you're having your toughest moments. The reassurance is invaluable. For us, we didn't feel we needed someone in our home in person, but we needed that number to call when we had questions, and that's exactly what the virtual package provided. We give Jamie ten stars, not five, and we highly recommend working with her!

Hiring Kristen as our doula was the best thing I did for my pregnancy and birth. She made herself available throughout the final few months of my pregnancy via countless texts and phone calls prepared to answer all the wild questions I had about any symptoms or feelings. When I finally went into labor, none of us knew I’d be in it for a whopping 60 hours before my son was in my arms. I could go on and on about all the things she did to help get my son in an optimal position (there were many) but at the end of the day, she was just there for me. There for me when I thought I’d be having an unmedicated birth center birth. There for me when we had to have a c-section instead. And there for me after while I processed it all. She is amazing and I’d hire her again and again and again.

Hello! I stumbled headfirst into the birth world through a non birth related podcast. After hearing the host’s birth story I was awestruck. I needed to know more. The more I learned, the more I felt called to this work. I firmly believe that everyone has the right to reproductive justice, to birth the way they want to, and to be able to define their birth experience their way. Choosing your birth team is one of the most important choices you can make during your pregnancy. I completed my formal birth doula training with Childbirth International in 2024 but have been practicing since early 2023. What sets me apart is my background as an engineer. Eloise was worth her weight in gold during a difficult birth that didn't go to plan. My hope was to labor at home as long as possible and to have an unmedicated water birth. However, I unfortunately developed preeclampsia with severe features, which necessitated an emergency induction at 37 weeks and being confined to the bed on a magnesium drip for the duration of the multi-day labor. I called in Eloise for support during a very low point in my labor, when my epidural had failed and dilation had not progressed for hours. Eloise immediately created a peaceful environment with candles, essential oils, and gentle music, and employed massage, heat therapy, and a TENS unit to promote relaxation. In the first three hours after Eloise's arrival, my dilation suddenly advanced from five to over nine centimeters, a fact which I absolutely attribute to the deep sense of safety she provided. When it came time to deliver my son, I was struggling with feeling weak and depleted after a long, overwhelming labor. Eloise calmly encouraged me through each and every contraction during three hours of pushing. I truly believe that there's no way I would have been able to fulfill my goal of having a vaginal birth if not for her steady presence and her guidance on how to make my pushing more effective. In the weeks following the birth, I ended up suffering from a painful and persistent uterine infection. I had not purchased a postpartum package from Eloise, but she continued to check in with me nonetheless, a testament to the genuine care she has for her clients. Having Eloise as my doula was an extraordinary silver lining of a challenging birth experience. My husband and I are so grateful for Eloise and would unreservedly recommend her to anyone.

Jessica was the best addition to our birthing team. From giving the best advice and research when we were expecting to have a natural birth to helping me switch my birthing plan more geared for a csection when we found out having a csection was the safer option for both myself and my son. She helped me ask the right questions and on the day of the csection she handled all the questions and made sure everyone had my birth plan and my requests so that way I can focus on getting in the right heads pace for my csection. She also helped my fiance feel confident in being there for me as well. When she came for my post op visit at home, she gave nothing but the best advice and recommendations for myself and my son. I couldn't be more grateful for Jessica during my journey as a second time mom but still feels like a first time mom since my kids are 13 years apart.
