About me

My name is Celeste Pegues and I have been a full spectrum doula for 9 years. My Doula philosophy is that childbirth is opening the portal of healing transformation for yourself, your new family and your ancestral lineage. As a doula, I know the importance of holding space for both the physical and spiritual changes of pregnancy, labor and postpartum. Not only am I here to support and help you advocate for yourself, your family  and any pregnancy discourse and outcomes you choose, but to also help naturally encourage the spiritual and healing medicine of this transitional period in your life.   It would be an honor to have the opportunity to share this time with you. I will work to support you to birth in awareness and having a transformative and healing postpartum experience, where you feel confident, informed, and surrounded with care, love and respect.

Our mission is to provide somatic birthing doula support, helping you have a safe and empowering birth experience. If you plan to give birth at home, at the hospital, or anywhere in between or beyond, I am dedicated to the ceremony that is your birth experience. My value as a birth worker is rooted in supporting birthing people by helping them feel safe and secure in the wisdom of their own birthing body. Prenatally, I support this process through coaching my clients through somatic practices that aim to support nervous system regulation and mind-body-spirit connections. During labor, I hold space for you, your baby, and your birth partner, to use these tools in real time, to manage the intensity of labor and advocate for your needs!

How we take care of ourselves postpartum will determine how we move through future fertility, menstruation, and menopause. My postpartum support is to nurture new mothers in the sacred 40 days after childbirth by offering restorative meals, gentle body work, and herbal remedies to integrate into your newborn self!
